There are a bunch of tabbed modules here that are quite perfect, but this one deserves a PLUS.
Dima, you've done quite the perfect portable module, and it would be so nice if it could handle plugins codes like xtypo ones that I use.
Maybe some tweaking to handle 'maintext' too (convenient for me to bypass the Dropcap in my introtext)or even to have the possibilily that queries could be made to both 'introtext' and 'maintext'.
What about embeeding files that are swf, or flv?
Great Job guys, and SPASSIBA Dmitry.

I had a few problems to begin with (mine, not the extensions), mainly as I wasn't linking images to articles in the content and not using {mosimage} in the introtext. But once I'd played about with it, it looks great! I've got five tabs - one for each category in our news section and it really does the business for me! This is a local J1.0.15 and I'm hoping it's now working fine for J1.5.x because that's what we'll most likely use in the actual development. Emails to the author bounced back though - I wonder if that's been fixed now?! Anyway - thanks for a great component.

After I've installed NewsTab on my J1.5 all the tabs were disappeared (for J 1.0.15 is pretty good).

The title should say it all! I'm using 1.5.1 and this is one great addition.
Thanks very much!

I give it a good rating, it's a good idea, but it fails to work as descrbied. This is probably an early version of it though. I've tried to get it to work on joomla 1.5.1 to no avail.
It's also a major setback that your news tab doesn't process content bots. If you use something like xtypo drop cap to start off all of your articles like I do, then in the newstab instead of a drop cap, you'll see {xtypo_dropcap}D{/xtypo_dropcap}
Without the ability to use content bots, I cannot use this module (even if I could get it to displayer properly)

I installed it and it only allowed me to select one Section, and that's it. I was hoping that I could select several categories. This was on Joomla 1.13.

Tried it on a J1.5 Install. The tabs lack their titles, and the content doesn't look anything like the demo...

I am not sure why you guys have trouble in j1.5 . as you can see our demo for j1.5.1 works fine. the module needs to be 1.configured after installation
2.you must have 1 published category in chosen section
3. you must have 1 published news item in that category.
