This Plugin is at first look very nice.
Then i analyced the Code. There is call to a Javascript file, wich is hosted by the programmer: http://sociallist.org/widget.js.
This javascript handles the URL functions. It is a security risk to do somethings like this. So if the Programmer would offer a full version with everything included, then i would find it better. It seems the Programmer want to hold full controll over the script.

I was really excited to find this plugin but very disappointing when I installed. I selected to use it on "All Content" and when I did that, I got a Fatal error on any pages that had components such as Photo Gallery, EventList. Sadly I can't handpick which pages to put this on. All I can do is specify Static or Regular content and I've tried both with no success. I want articles to be bookmarkable, but when I put it on Regular content, when a user clicks a menu item linked to a component, the page displays the fatal error such as:
Fatal error: Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found in /home/xxxx/public_html/plugins/content/sociallist.php on line 78
Really a shame. I hope that the developers can fix this!

The Good
This plug in was great. I installed a couple of others but did not like how they looked. Very professional looking.
The Bad
You are not able to control the order of the icons or which appears on the list. If that could change it would make this a great plugin to add to any site that wants to extend their reach.
By the way it seems to work just fine with my other plug ins specifically sh404sef

I really liked this plugin - it did everything I wanted it to do. However it still does not validate (xhtml transitional), and that's a huge problem.

After spending countless hours, testing and re-testing an array of social b.plug-ins with NO success, I decided to give this baby a try.
Joomla! users: THIS SIMPLY WORKS. Install it, and voila!, you are set. The other plug-ins did not work, had to tweak them up somewhere, or simply didn't work at all.It was quite disappointing! However, after finding this one I could say my painful days are over.
DOWNSIDE: The "show home" parameter simply doesn't work. I keep seeing the plug-in there whatever I do. This needs to be fixed!

I really loved this plugin it was easy and convenient. However after installation if you try to validate your XHTML at validator.w3.org I received 23 Errors and 23 warning(s).

SocialList allows you to control more display parameters from simple pop-up menus than anything else out there. You can position the icons anywhere you want; you can exclude it from the Front Page and from static content, manage the size of the box, etc., without needing to muck with the PHP file.
The downside is that you have no control over which bookmarking services show up in your display, nor over the order in which they appear. The icons are imported from the SocialList website, and the order in which they appear is a function of the Javascript that runs on that site. For example, we want Reddit to appear among the first 9 icons displayed, but we have no control over that.

a great plugin, easy to install and get up and running but:
1. no place to put support issues.
2. when you intall it into joomla, you must first unzip the file and rename the zipfile inside to a zip extenision.
3. you do get one error when clicking on certain links. Do not know how to fix it, it is listed below:
Fatal error: Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found in /plugins/content/sociallist.php on line 78

This is the first time i have written a review... I am amazed at how easy to install and configure this was... I have tried to install many of the other 1.5 social network plugins... but this was the first that worked "straight out of the box" ... and after re-jigging it (just for interest, not out of need) I realised I could easily make it even better.

Nice simple setup. Size is easily customizable.
Ajax? Pop-up for additional sites size is easily customizable.
Clean "More" link opens pop-up to select from any of SocialList's site options. Well done!
