Since Joomla 1.5.x has no built-in CAPTCHA engine, it is very annoying that sometimes the default com_contact can't stop spam emails.

This Qcontacts component solved this problem smoothly! It has its own CAPTCHA, so we don't need to depend on anything else.

Only one suggestion: if the author offer more CAPTCHA fonts, that will suit most templates. Thanks.

Captcha works great and out of the box without the need to modify core files as required by many plugins and components offering captcha.

I would like the added ability to redirect to a thank you page after submission of the form, but the lack of this feature does not diminishes the fantastic job therefore I am rating it as excellent with five stars.

Easy to use and install. Works right out of the box. Solved a number of problems with the default contact component.

Installed correctly on both Windows and Linux servers running Joomla 1.5.10, qcontacts worked perfectly! Great component!

QContacts is a great component, it's one of the first components I always install after installing Joomla!

Excellent component!, I rate good(not excellent) because when our site has large number of customers (>2lakh) you may not be able to create contacts in the admin form.. This is due to the listing all the contacts in that page.. which tends the site to time out..

Other functionalities are excellent.. and excellent support..

Easy to install and get setup and running. Absolutely NO knowledge of forms required. I was truly amazed at all the great features this component offers and would use this on any of my Joomla sites.

I like this tool very mucht because because you can build a personal form without programming hassle.

Wat it makes excellent for me is that it integrates with Joomfish 2, although you have to do this manually.

This product takes what the built in contact manager does, and improves on it significantly. It is a very well written product.

This is a well written extension. It installed with no problems, is easy to use, and has a lot of expanded functionality. I found adjusting the templates to suit my needs simple.

A new version (1.0.5) was released after my initial installation. Upgrade when without a hitch and added some functionality I can use.

The support forums are very helpful and the creator is available through the forums to point you in the right direction.

This component was easy to install, and worked out of the box.

It also has joomfish support which is great.

Drawback - as one of the previous reviewers mentioned it would be a major plus to have a custom thank you page get shown after the form is submitted.

I was having someone compromise my Joomla standard contact form. THIS component is SWEET. It was easy to download, imports existing Joomla contacts and categories, and captcha enables easily. TOP NOTCH. THANKS a bunch!
