Excellent :)

A real good start ... still needs some work ... the thumbnail issue ... and requires some type of inbuilt pre-loader I think!
Bit much with no loading message or something when loading larger flash movies! does not appear to work with flash preloaders (well mine don't!) it loads the preloader but the movie never starts!
would like to know the reason for this??

all up great job and needed plugin
thanks

You can change the icons to whatever you want them to be. It is a negative that this thing cannot use thumbnails, but you can still change the icon to whatever you want. Just go to:

/public_html/plugins/content/jpmedialightbox/icon

From here you can change the icon to whatever you want it to be.

Hope this helps.

I have to agree. the lack of thumbnail use is a bit of a deal breaker. one could make a prety nice video gallery / video wall with this if there were some way to incorporate a thumbnail. The icons a rather inconspicuous

This plugin works as advertised:

Once installed and activated, just add the parameter to your content and it's there.

Positives:
- very simple
- easy to use - the built in documentation opens a popup with all the possible media to use the plugin for
- works as advertised
- very nice lightbox effect

Negatives:
- the only visible element on the page, is a small icon, so you have to add some kind of instruction to click on it.
- no parameters. I would have liked to be able to set the size and position of the display. Maybe this can be built in in a future release.

All in all - very neat and uncomplicated.
Thanks to the developer.
Works as announced but seems to lack a crucial feature. It is not possible to link image thumbnails to the videos.
