Long-awaited version for Joomla!1.6 is finally released(thanks to Marcin Dancewicz)! It is currently in Beta status, so please report all issues to my site.
This release - version 3.0 includes:
* Integration with other Joomla! extensions, such as:
............... Virtuemart
............... JoomFish
............... JoomGallery
............... DOCman
............... (You can also add support for your own extension)
* Joomla! "core" types processing:
............... Content
............... Weblinks
............... Users (registration, content edits)
* Access control filtering (as well as unpublished items filter)
* Refactored caching mechanism, offering new options
* "Cached" sign support
* Time Zone Offset support
* Built-in reference guide
* Combined\Individual processing options for each extension
And, as usually, it allows:
* to specify output format
* to add pre-&post-text
The code is optimized for fast execution, in accordance with PHP peculiarities.
Version 3.0 was completely refactored, and it's 100% MVC-based.
Next version will be supplied with multiple language files.

* Joomla does not provide last modification date for menus, categories etc, so it is not possible to track them.
* DOCman support was tested on version 1.4, 1.5 not tested. If you have any results, please let us know.
* Version for J!1.6 was not thoroughly tested, so it has Beta status. Please report all issues to my site.

First of all that's what everybody needs to show the user if there was a change on the site.
First it was not working I expected. So I asked for help. The support is great. In a few days everything was fixed (there was an issue in this version) I always say nobody is perfect, but the support is perfect!

Hey great module, I would give you 5 stars but youve forgotten something pretty major, i might have to uninstall until you fix it.
There is no "class suffix" area, i can not style the module, which is a bit of a gaff.
Please fix this :)

ok, this feature is available now :)
Try v. 3.1.
It does what it says and what it was made for. However, there are things to be desired. For instance, time setting options should have been made available in the admin section instead of sending people to php website to do that. Someone very naive may not able to do that. Time offset setting to get updates in global or local time is a must. Or at least some tips on how to do that for people like me how don't have any technical knowledge. Lastly, let me repeat that it's a great module. Thanx for creating it :)

And now I publish version 3.0 that includes all these (and many other) features.
This is a really simple module that gets it right.
The only thing keeping it from five stars is that it doesn't post the last update based on the Global time.

Module empty, doesn't display last update. Deleted this module. Sorry.

It's the first report telling that our module(version 1.0) does not works. Make sure that your /modules & /modules/mod_lastupdate directories are not write
protected. If this doesn't helps, please contact the author.
As well try our new - 2.0 version that will be published right now.
