The main news is the possibility to implement several galleries on your site. You can now simply and directly from the component create new and unlimited menu items related to their skin. Also the management of the parameters of each skin is easier.
To insert a gallery inside Joomla content follow this simple procedure:
- Create a menu item relating to the gallery you want.
- Access the administration page of the component Ozio Gallery, menu Components -> Ozio Gallery 2, on the right side are visible all the galleries published, and the plugin code to be copied. Copy the code referring to the plugin you wish to enter in a content.
- Access to the content of Joomla where you want to enter the gallery, and paste the previously copied code where you want, save and view the article from frontend. To change the size of the gallery included and change the other parameters is necessary to refer to the respective menu item. For those who want to remove or change the title of the menu item from above the gallery, act in Parameters (System) of the respective menu item, setting a new page title, or by setting the parameter Show Page Title to No.
By performing this procedure, are published both the menu item and the gallery content. For those who do not want to have the menu item visible on the site, we advised to create a new menu titled Hidden, and create in this menu the menu item for the gallery to be included in the content. Is automatically created a new module for the new Hidden menu, this module is not active and should be left as inactive. In this way the galleries created with this new hidden menu will be included in the contents and belong only to content that is pasted in the code of the plugin.
The new "mediaGallery" skin allows the automatic recognition of the categorization of images(jpg),video(flv), audio(mp3) each folder in the main folder of images automatically become a new category selectable from the left menu.

Works brilliantly every time. Not even that hard to teach someone, and looks great. It appears martinjbull cannot differentiate rating a component from rating his own skill (CHOWN is all you need sir!), please disregard his unfair rating, it works great!

I am very happy with this extension. I was searching for an easy to use and nice looking gallery for my art works. This one perfectly responds these requirements. I use carousel skin. It looks very nice and even allows you to play with pictures by mouse. The only difficulty I found is that the support forum is only in Italian but I would like to get some additional information about this extension.
I installed this on a Joomla 1.5 site in locahost (mamp) and it worked. But when I FTP'd the Akeeba backup to the live server-it broke. All I get is a white screen where the images should be. this is a fatal issue and I can't post on the forum as i don't speak italian. I have checked htaccess file, reset xml, chmod settings for the folders-everything. It just doesn;t work. I am in big difficulties here-I tried using GTEK Expose but that wouldn't run on localhost and no-one there has replied to my post asking for help. All I want is a nice online gallery.... seems there isn't one in the world for free that works. Amazing!
Hello, I installed the component. It was easy to handle and everything was okay. Nice flash animations. I got good feetbacks from the viewers. But on the third day, some friends told me, that they are´nt able any longer, to watch the gallery. I couldn´t believe it, at my PC everything worked alright. So I changed to another PC and I got the same problems as my friends. At the flashgallery skin there is only a white sreen. A few thumbnails are black, a few white. The name of the images is shown. The strange thing is. We all use the same browser and at the beginning it worked at all Pc`s of my friends perfect. So what can I say. Actually I should give 5 Stars, but I can´t, because it works apperently not quite propper.

Try to watch the gallery whit www. or without www.
Ozio gallery is very quick and easy to use component. But I want to use it inside articles and in custom HTML modules. I am using Joomla1.6 & Joomla 1.7. I saw in some previous posts that the owner recommended "Plugin In Module: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/embed-a-include/6713 " , but that is currently compatible only for Joomla1.5. Is there any way to implement it in Joomla1.6 & Joomla1.7 ?

you use Ozio Gallery in Joomla 1.7 inside articles and in custom HTML modules. In the componet page you can find the plugin code to paste in the article or custom HTML modules.
I've been using the Ozio Gallery 2.6 for a while now with no problems, it's a great extension. I recently made the site dual language using Joomfish, however, the galleries do not work if I translate any of the menu items linking to the galleries(it appears to repeat the previous gallery and never change). Is there a fix for this?

This is a good easy to install & setup extension with several alternate display methods. There are 2 things wrong with it with the first being that there isn't a paid version that removes the advertising below the display which makes it unusable on a commercial site and the second is that the only support from the website is the forum which is only in Italian.
If you want a gallery extension on your personal site, it's great but there is no way any of my customers would accept the advertising below the display.

I really like how quickly this extension loaded and was functioning right away. A few complaints I may have would be from not reading all the instructions, but it is a bit difficult to find how to customize and get some links to show, for instance, there is a toggle for "Original size" but no indication when loading the template (I am using Media Gallery) where the "Original Size" link resides. Since I have not delved into the FAQ and other reading seriously, I will not expect a reply on that issue here.

One thing I would love though is to make it impossible to download or print images from the flash pages for the sake of copyright infringement avoidance. I cannot save the images, but it is possible to print it off, and a savvy user could find a work-around to print the images. Add a custom watermark feature and we will love it more!

I am wondering please.. is there a way to remove the 'Ozio Gallery by JoonlaIT' that appears underneath my gallery? I have it on a white screen, with the photos just appearing out of the white, but the words underneath really take away from the effect.

In spite of search on Web and your forum, I still can't use the plugin facility:
{oziogallery CODE}. I used the one generated by the component Oziogallery (2.6) but nothing is included in the artcile where I paste the code.It stays as blank page. Everything work fine using the menu link.
I cant really read italian so I hope i will find help here.
