Some of you encountered a blank page for search result for v1.5.14. This version fixed the bug. Thanks to Daniel for helping me find the bug and test the solution of the bug fix.

The module allows you to add an additional Google search box as a module. This means that you can place the search form in any module position you like. When the user clicks the search button, the search result will be displayed in your Joomla main body by the googleSearch component.

- Works with Joomla 1.0 and 1.5. Both in native mode.
- Gives you many options to customize the google search to suit your needs e.g. setting of foreground / background color, input of channel, default search by web or your domain, etc.
How to install

Set up is as easy as 1-2-3:
1. Install the component
2. Enter your Google Adsense ID
3. Enter your desired width of the search result
That's all you need to get started! You'll now have Google Search right inside your Joomla page!

It is a perfect component with very useful features. Absolutely marvelous!

And such a snap to install and configure! Be sure to get the Module as well; a fantastic combination. The power of Google right on your page! Now I can easily add my AdSense account without having to filter out competing ads using AdSense modules on certain sites.
Kudos to the developer(s) for a great product that works perfectly out of the box. Great site too for installation and documentation.

I have just gone crazy trying to install a Google-based search extension for my site. For one reason or another, none of them worked correctly, or didn't work at all. I was initially turned off by this component because I don't want AdSense on my site, but I was getting desperate so I signed up with Google and installed this component and module.
Like others have stated, the component did not work until I changed it to "skip" in sh404sef. Now it works perfectly.

Very easy to install and setup. Team it up with the GoogleSearch module and you have a winning combo.
I had a few issues right at the start (Because of my country setting) and kksou was very kind and helped me figure out everything.
We need more Joomla! developers like this!

This component is exactly what I needed, but it was even better to see that there is available a module that works together and the search results are displayed RIGHT INSIDE your Joomla page!

This is now officially one of the hottest search based components for Joomla. In five minutes I setup a search box module and a full featured customizable Google search component. To top it off I can even make money through Google adsense from searches taking place on my site. How long did it take to add my Google adsense account to this component? 1 sec, because all I had to do was paste my Google adsense code in a field and bam! Ready to go!

I emailed this guy on Friday night telling him that the Google search component was great but that if he added a module based search box that connected to the component that would be awesome. He replies by telling me he would jump on that right away and have it done by Sunday night. Sure enough it's now Sunday night and my search module and component are already setup and ready to go! Great job, this is my first review, I felt compelled to write it. Best of all this a great working product!

Some of you have encountered the following error: "404 - An error has occurred: Component Not Found" on some of the servers.
Please download the latest update - v1.02 (for J1.0) and v1.52 (for J1.5).
The update will fix the problem.
The update will also fix the problem you have mentioned (i.e. configuration page did not appear).
