It allows you to add an additional Google search form as a module. This means that you can place the search form in any module position you like.
When the user clicks the search button, the search result will be displayed in your Joomla main body by the googleSearch component.
Let me emphasize again that you need to have the googleSearch component installed for this to work.
Available for both Joomla 1.0.x and native 1.5.x!
You can see a live demo by clicking the Demo link above. You will see a Google search box displayed in one of the module positions on the left (second one on the left). Enter something e.g. treeview. You will see the search result displayed right inside the joomla main body.

Latest Update
=============
v1.0.15 (for Joomla 1.0) and v1.5.15 (for Joomla 1.5)
Released January 12, 2009
Some of you encountered a blank page for search result for v1.5.14. This version fixed the bug. Thanks to Daniel for helping me find the bug and test the solution of the bug fix.
Note: It is important that you match the version number of your googleSearch module with that of the googleSearch component.
I have installed google search module and component.
Its really great development.
Thanks for developing such a component and module and providing it to people for free.
Thanks a lot!!
One point for component configuration option is that if you can provide the option for width of search results display region to be in pixel or em or % width. Presently it is fixed in pixels. If you provide an option to select px/em/% then it can be very good configuration for fluid layouts.
