RandomContent displays random content at the bottom of articles browsed by users. Displayed content is drawn from the same category the browsed article-belongs to.
The plugin proves useful in a variety of situations, for example, when website managers are interested in increasing exposure of content through similar article displays.
V1.1 1. Fix unset variable bugs.
2. Add category exclusion. Articles from the categories will not show random contents. This is helpful for "About us&" pages.
3. Add category selection.
No matter what category the browsed article belongs to ,the rand content plugin will show articles from the set categories.
Very good and easy to use plugin! A bit more options and it will be perfect.
My suggestions:
- Ad some parameters to configure view. Number of columns, at least.
- It shows the link to the title itself now. :D That's not good.
- If it could be activate by insert of some code to the articles it would be perfect, especially if it could be possible to manage configuration with code parameters.

this is an excellent plugin that was easy to install and works as soon as you enable it. thank you for making such a simple yet effective joomla feature
A great job, This is something that should add extra value to articles. I give it 5 stars!
Great Idea. It would be better If we have an option to select categories and/or sections to show random content. And I am not so sure but seems like $show_front and $access variables are not set in code but code is trying to use them. (and php gives warning)

Thanks nrazon, it is a bug, I have removed unset variables. I will also add the category or sections selection. and publish a new version.
