Having the Vote Counter below the stars takes a lot of space.

You honestly can't get any simpler than this plugin.
Installation was simple(as it should be) and simply adding
{mainvote} to my selected articles all it took.

This is a MUST have!

i was surprised with this plugin. I never thought this kind of voting system would show-up here in extension site as i have never seen sub-rating (rating/s within articles) :)

This little extra is very simple, very practical and very useful. It does the job simply and well.

I was precisely for this kind of plugin.
The only problem is that it conflicts with existing CSS stylesheets, at least on the theme I am using (RocketTheme Versality III for Joomla 1.5).

Tried to hack the component to fix it, but without any success.

How nice I finally find a vote plugin that works in both firefox and ie7 and in the template that I use for joomla 1.5 (let's forget about joomla 1.0 now c'mon guys!).
Just one thing though about all these voting systems, how to you rate "zero" stars? that's the only thing I would like to see.
The addition of the rating of specific parts within an article is very nice too.
