This is a good tool overall but it lacks a lot of other features, Overall it is " Simple " Flash Gallery meant to display small number of images.
Any way it would been great if the developer took this forward and let this great component be bridged / work with other photo "gallery" components out there, Currently I have my Photo Gallery With Phoca but would love to have this tool use Phoca to call the images and display as a module.

There are other galleries with more options. This one shines in its simplicity..
I wanted a simple gallery, easy for my client to use and update, and this one was perfect!
One problem only: Flash movie gets on top of mootools menus etc, but I solved by editing swfobject.js. Here's the solution:

It looks awesome, really eye candy. And works great if you don't have too much images to display. You also need to be careful not to put too hi-resolution images in or it will load forever. Lacking option for more gallery's is it biggest minus also pictures name is its description, what could be an issue for non latin charset languages.
On the positive side.. again it looks great and is very easy to use.
But it could be better, I hope that future versions will be more complete.

Pros:
*works really well for a smallish number of images to display
*installed ok, easy to use
*You can ftp up the images if you don't want to use the uploader. /components/com_wmtsimpleflashgallery/img
*The full screen option is pretty awesome
Cons:
* only single folder level, can't display sub folders
