I have rated average BECAUSE of one problem that should be updated. It works perfectly as long as it appears once in a page BUT if we use it twice on a page it's just OUT OF CONTROL. Both of them starts moving left and right at fast speed.

I'm a novice so having modules work right out of the box is what I'm looking for. I could set this up ok but it will only show two pictures regardless of how many images I have in the folder (and I have it on show all images). Frustrating.

Not excellent only cos in ie6 not scrolling continuosly (sorry bad spell), butt making pause and start again (thats my experience). By all other means excellent! Best thing, it handles png, without background so logos look stunting flowing horizontally on original site background.
Thanks guys, and best with your work!

Lovely piece of work, easy to configure, I quickly created a nice slideshow of pics, works fine with Chrome and Firefox, just one thing: it does not work well in IE (gets vertical instead of horizontal)! So sad. :( Cause mine is the website for the customers to see and since majority of people all over the world still use IE, I have to think of another component that would work well in all browsers.

Wow! The SlideShow Pro took just a few minutes to install and configure. Brilliant piece of work. Thank you! Worked perfect as a horizontal slide show in a banner position.

Slideshow Pro is great, working perfect in Chrome & Firefox. The problem is when you use IE 8: it should appear as a horizontal slideshow of 3 images (from a folder containing 5 images), but it appears as a vertical unformatted list of 5 images and qithou scroll.
Is there something extra to do with Internet Explorer 8?
Thank you very much!!

Thank you! It was exactly what I was looking for, especially as this slideshow has an easy caption functionality and the possibility to link to a URL when clicking the large image.
I have one suggestion for an upcoming version: it would be nice to include a setting for the padding. Pictures just look nicer when there is a little space between the border and the image.

It looks like the jscript errors have returned when running in IE 8. Besides this issue, I would recommend it to all joomla users.

Fantastic module, one question though,

Is there a simple fadein-out effect?, I could not find one on the list of effects

...otherwise clean module, very elegant made for great usage.

The only two things are missing:
- To be able to link articles and load them in the main window (instead to go to complete url and reload the whole page)
- The space between the images is not working (at least for me)

Best regards, S@

I like it a lot but it did nt work in IE8 for me. All the photos should have slid horizontally, but instead were stacked vertically and did not slide. I could not post on his site because of the language but I would like to know if I am doing anything wrong.

Only 2 stars for not working in IE6 and IE7. In fact: IE6 is not that kind of problem and i would accept this disfunctionality, but IE7 still should be supported. Hope you will fix this in future versions, becouse it makes module useless to be honest. I would give it 4 or 5 stars without this issue.

I would prefer for this slideshow to have more options. Like custom text with a headline and a small description for each picture at the bottom in a thin transparent gray line like other slideshows. I also would like this module to have transparent direction arrows.

In my opinion this is the best image gallery around simply because of it's SEF/SEO features. Furthermore it's design layout options and features are great and it's easy to use. The only issue I see is that, even-though there is a THUMBNAIL images path, there is no way to actually add a unique gallery thumbnail through the component! If there is a way I would love to know about it. Thank You SlideShow PRO

Dear designers,

Thanks for making this great module !
But, I saw that the slides do not scroll in IE-8 compability mode. All the images are displayed vertically without scrolling. I must do something wrong. I appreciate any suggestions.

Hi!

Is there any JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and etc. different from SlideShow Pro..

Some scripts made some causes.

Also, I'll review SlideShow Pro module, as soon as possible...

Just wanted a simple header that produced eye catching movement that I could resize to the dimensions that perfectly fit my designs.

So far have used it on dozens of websites. Could use more styles (i.e. fade, slide, etc.) but overall great for the header of a website.

Thank you for your interest.

You can use JT SlideShow for more styles

I downloaded this specifically so I could put an image fade in the header. I wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work. No matter what I tried to use as a module class suffix to set this as a fade, it didn't change the image slide to a fade.

Thanks for the module works great.. does just what I need it to do. Very useful being able to give each image its own hyperlink.

One thing im not sure about my images are different heights it seems as one is loaded if the next image is bigger you can see it loading in the background? and there doesnt seem to be a way around this.

Thanks for all you work
