There are four layouts: Horizontal / Vertical / Carousel / Fade-in Module class suffix, width, height, background color, image folder, titles, urls, slideshow speed, spaces, times, and etc. can be specified.
JavaScripts may cause some problems on IE. New (jQuery) SlideShow module will be published (on http://www.jt.gen.tr) as soon as possible.

It is good enough for me. There are configuration options. It looks good on the page. Nobody is trying to sell anything, i.e. just a free version and not 'free' and 'pro'.
Thanks to the authors.

Very easy to install and configure. It just took me 2 minute to make it work. So excellent work!
PS:
while many parameters are easy to configure, parameters for "Image Folder","Images","Titles", and "URLs" are a little inconvenient. But still an very good extension!

I was looking for a quick solution to add a simple slide show to a customized page of my church's website. I grabbed this one and I must say, it works better than I expected.
I saw a review saying that it does not work in IE6 but it does for me....and I did not have any configuration/hacks to do to it.
Thanks.
My one issue is that it takes some time to enter all the image names manually and no provision is made to specify images from multiple folders. But besides that, great work.

This is a perfect module for showing images with a scroll effect.. one thing I ran into was that after entering a folder name with my images I actually have to enter all the image names manually..
It should have the feature of entering multiple folder names and where we'd just enter the folder names and it'll pull out the images.. 4 outta 5

The tool is pretty good, easy to configure and install.
The only thing is that not all effects work on all browsers, for example the FadeIn effect does not work on IE6.
Would also be great if there would be a little more documentation.
But thanks to the developers!

It's a good, easy-to-use module for making image slide shows. One thing seems to be missing, although: the possibility to edit the links in images so that clicking an image in the slide show would not open a new browser window. It is only possible to determine the URL where the link directs but not whether you would like the page to open in the same browser tab, in another window etc. Therefore, no full points from me.

Guy's thanks so much, this was the first extension I have added that was up and running in no less than 5 minutes and that included downloading and publishing the module.
My only suggestion is that it took me 1 minute to work out which field control speed, so maybe take the guess work out a bit an actually name the field spped rather than Delay but either way this is a fantastic tool - Thank You Very Much.

This is a great Module, Thanks for making it free and the spirit of Open Source that you have!
Awesome free extension. Easy to configure, makes life easier. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for very nice piece of code. It works great with two little "glitches" on Fade-effect Ordered-show. In Joomla Forum I have provided full description of my investigation, and proposed fixes: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=411&t=344347&p=1585881#p1585881 I hope it will help in future development.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
The only problem is when I create 2 vertical modules, only one works well, another is empty.
If I set one of them vertical and another one horrizontal every think works well

Very nice extension for free, nice work!

I think this a great module and fairly easy to use. My only problem with it is the problems with internet explorer as already discussed with the vertical scroll. When this is resolved, the module will be my go slideshow module.

It installs easily and has all needed configurations in the module, plus it comes with demo content that makes figuring it out a breeze. I'm using it as an articles scroller in my right sidebar.
Well done!

Hi! I like this module. It is easy to install and use.
The Horizontal layout option works well on all browsers. But the rest - vertical, carousel and fade do not render well on IE7 (sigh!) They work like a charm on Safari and Firefox.
thanks!

OK, so out of the box, this sets up fine and works with no configuration. The problem came when I tried to configure it. The website is not loading and it looks like all the support forums contacts are in Turkish? I'd love to use it and I'll keep tinkering with it to see if I can get it to work. Yes, it is easy to install, and the interface is simple enough. But that's where I'm stopped. Hope I can get it going.

Which means great :). This is not only a slidehow but can also be used as a scroller. Works right out of the box with clear paramaters. Thanks!

This is without doubt one of my favorite modules on Joomla! I tried using flash, and it's difficult, but this has exactly what I been looking for and is simple and for joomla. Thank you very much for sharing this! I use it for my site about my photography, and I'm considering using it for my other websites as well! Two thumbs up! Easily managable! Cheers Josh Lewis.

I have used lots of modules to do slideshows and some work in explorer or firefox but not all work in both. This was the most simplistic installation on the planet. Fantastic work!
