- SEF Service map creates three kinds of site maps: HTTP, XML and TXT;
- SEF Service Map is the only active site map available. Thanks to a built-in PingBack mechanism ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pingback ), the site map can actively report (ping) new or modified items to google.com, yahoo.com and other services. Thanks to that, indexing robots (spiders) will visit your site much more often and the site can index itself without your further activity. Once your site becomes a trusted site for search engines, your new or modified items will be able to appear in the index after a few hours;
- SEF Service Map is the first site map to integrate not only the standard Joomla! components (content, RSS newsfeeds, weblinks and contacts) but also other components, using an integrator mechanism. This makes SEF Service Map an open component. Moreover, it's the only site map to integrate add-ons to other site maps such as Joomap and Xmap ( http://joomla.vargas.co.cr/ ), which allows the integration of a large number of components;
- SEF Service map is compatible with integrators for previous Joomla versions (1.0.x). The moment you turn off the compatibility mode (Legacy), it avoids the use of incompatible integrators, which allows further work without the message "Direct access is not allowed";
- SEF Service Map allows the installation of even two (or more) integrators for the same component. In the site map structure, you will be able to choose which integrator to use;
- SEF Service Map is the only component available to create site maps for services consisting of more than 50.000 pages. It is possible thanks to streaming creation of the site map (which disallows memory overload) and division of the main XML site map into smaller maps. Index of these maps is then reported to search engines, in compatibility with http://sitemaps.org specification;
- SEF Service Map in the moment of installation, by itself reports the site map to search engines and adds relevant entries in the robots.txt file - thanks to that, there is no need to additionally report the site map to search engines. However, adding the XML site map to Google Webmaster Tools ( http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ ) is still advised in order to enable monitoring whether the site map import process is valid.
- SEF Service Map allows site map pagination presented in WWW form. Thanks to that the power of internal linking is increased. The map allows adding item descriptions to each generated link. Thanks to these mechanisms, it does not become a mere link farm (which positively affects search engine spiders), but also becomes user-friendly - it allows simple map navigation and provides link descriptions. For large maps, the division into smaller maps drastically decreases the use of transfer.

This component deserves 6 starts is simply amazing. I was able to set everything in 1 minute and the component auto updates any changes on your site.

Excellent component, I am building a site of links it work for me perfectly, I did not have to do anything just install and make a link to a site map sheet, that's all, site map does everything else. No bug for me. Thank you very much for making good software.
It took me a while to find the display of the site map and to understand how it worked. It works well.

I moved from the "dark side" of XMAP over to using this component and haven't been disappointed.
Once I got my head around how it works I found it to be really very powerful and quite a nice component.
Also, support is great from their forum.

If you have a site with a lot of articles this is a must! Forget the others. This is the only that works in huge sites.

SEF Service Map 2 is the best sitemap-component for Joomla!
But there are only a view plugins and a lot of important ones (Myblog, Fireboard, ...) are missing.
And that is the best XBox without Games?

I was going to give it a four just because I am unable to find a plugin for fireboard or JomComment but that's really not SEF Service Map 2's fault.
Very easy to use (I believe more so then Xmap). I have moved from xmap to SEF Service Map 2 and am enjoying the transition.

This is an outstanding comopnent! Everything about it is briliant!
I had some problems with some menus, that didn´t show up in the sitemap. I wrote in the supportforum, and they helped me with the best and most professionel support i ever had in Joomla Land :-)
They know what they are doing, and they are extremly friendly and helpful.

I have to give a credit to developer. I can describe it with one word - Excellent.
In my case install went without any problems. Very easy to use. You even can install "integrators" or extensions from Xmap, Joomap. I used Mosets Tree Plugin from Xmap and it worked.

Brilliant component, I’ve been using Xmap for a long time but often got a lot of 404s from Google, I installed SEF Service Map but had a few problems, Radoslaw sorted them out in no time, Google seems to love the site maps generated by this component, and the large number of integrators available suit me fine, plus it’s compatible with Xmap integrators.
