As a sugestion, check demo site to see it in action. For our needs, we just used one module to create a simple site but like many other extensions needs some "personal adjustments"

However, we think it's in the good way and with some more improvement will be one of the top.SEF option, more detail search, and some adjustments in the layout, and in our case is more then enough. Frontend is possible, although is more focus to work with backoffice.
Overall we do recommend this component if you plan to start a simple site to show your cars, or for your clients, since it as a simple backoffice not very complicated to work with.
I think that when users buy an extension, the programmer is not included... Some work needs to be done, like the design, layout structure, module positions,colors etc, well this is not included in the pack. Although some users don't like the demo,others like me do like the demo site, wich by the way, helped me. After all the demo site for your client is already done. As for me, it has my vote.
This component have a very lot of errors and Nuno not response after my second colaborative email.
The thumbnails (mini pictures) dont look when I acces to edit a car in Back-end, it's posible this is un error of enroutment (direction to take picture). The pictures exist and if you open the list an select again, it's ok.
The form not is totaly visible.
The modules dont use a css and I have very problems to put in the templates beacause this. It use the colors and sizes in the module, not in the css. It's the same error whith the languages, beacause put parts in english in the code, not in the file of language.
It don't use the configuration of the component in Front-end (ex. I try to unmark the Fields 1 to 6 (why don't use) but in the car it's displayed.
This component not run properly with Templates.
This component not run with Joomfish.
I proposed two solutions to Nuno: "you correct all the errors in the pack and you send me a new version correctly, or you send me my 39,95 Euros and I search an other commercial product", but I don't have a response.
It's very disagreeable when you lost a money, be careful!
I really don't understand some users...But ok, I have no control with the reviews, and even if we did, we would not edit them. The component could not rund perfet with some templates, but probably like many other extensions works with J! default template, works with some attached in the pack, works with many other templates we tested, but we did not tested it with for example comercial templates. And when problem comes, blaim extension..
About Joomfish have you check demo site?See it working? Like we said we DID NOT made the language files, and as notice where users who sent them, so probably the files where done acoording to that user needs
And last but not least have you checked your reply at 11.05.2009? Before you post such coments...Paypal 149650406 11 May 09 04:30 rings a bell? So again why such reviews? We anounce something wich users can get, a site like the demo! Modules used are exactly the same. Even the WORKING template, all in the pack.
And again, sory for the english, mine is also very bad

For the price, I did not expect robust docs or instant support. All I ask for is an extension that does what it says.
I have spent the better part of a couple of weeks trying to get this to look/work correctly, but I'm afraid I have to abandon ship. Even after the last 'update' from Nuno, I still continue to have the same issues.
Simple things are just not handled. For example, if a user inputs a price with a separator in it (i.e. 15,000), then the search by price feature will not work. Prices need to be entered without the ',' or other separator. Of course, the system does not TELL you this, you'll get this surprise later. So, you say, just enter the price without the separator. You can do just that - if you want your front-end product display to look amateurish. It's a no-win.
The component does not play nice with many templates, and I could not even get it to perform well with the developer's own.
Simply put, please be VERY careful about paying money for this.
Oh, and my forum posts didn't receive adequate answers, even when they received a response. As cefnlly says, take a look through the forums and see the sort of answers Nuno gives. He can be extremely condescending - so be warned.

Thank you for your comment. The price is set like that because when we want to say 1000 (ten thousand) we don't write 10.000 or 10,000 but 10000. So when the search was done, I just follow the same analogy. Perfect extention? No, is not! But belive me, will be one of the best!!! An the updates will still be free, even to momentis ;))
The extention works fine with joomla default templates, works fine in the demo template, but in some templates could have some incompatibility with css. All the users have their opinion but things like ..."please be VERY careful about paying money for this.." or "...He can be extremely condescending..."??? Does this really help the users? In what? Users have a demo site, can have backend access to demo site, the pack includes everything you need to make a site at least like the demo or better, the price is public (yes a fortune, for users who will sell the sites using it 20x the price of Autostand pack) but that's the idea, otherwise we would not sell it. XML files, templates, etc., have free updates, so why do they need to be THAT careful when buying a PACK??? I'm really sory if the english is not perfect. I do try to make some sense when writing. If reply's where done in Portuguese, maybe it would help a lot, but probably no one would understand it, or just few ones...

1. Only one view (detail view) is available. (in other words, you don't get any option to select various views while adding the component on a page)
2. There is no search module. The only option for search is on the default view. When enabled, it is displayed on every single page, even on the page that displays form to add a car.
3. It is difficult to customize the look/style of the page because the source code is not well structured. For example, the view folder is inside the model folder. The helper program is utilized to display search forms. Tons of nested tables are used for formatting.
Overall, it is good for money and worth buying if you are prepared to learn PHP and CSS.
Like most of other extentions you have one detail view.
You do have search module in the full pack.Check modules folder of the received file.In fact this module is used in demo site and since it's release...About the code we've clean and adjust many of this not needed tables/code
After email author, I was informed that the new version will have this part solved, with more extras possible to edit and config in control panel. Pack very complete, including templates, modules, multilanguage, etc however, and should have more extra fields to fill. It is without doubt a reference at vertical markets, not only for cars. Editing language file is possible to adpat.In my case it was used for industrial machines, as a catalog.

Many new features, much more simple to use, and some of the options that where really missing in previous version finally where implemented. Since I already knew the "way to work", this version is very simple to use, and as great potencial. With some more options would improve it a lot.
