Hi, I have used this component with joomla 2.5, but it is not working. Can you please let me know, is this support or not. And if it is not support then what would be the alternate of this component for joomla 2.5

Reason for Poor Review:

1. no support options what so ever. Created forum account at authors website, however all forum topics are locked, replies are locked, there is no way to get support. Other than to submit a ticket which you cant do for the free version.

Now i know what your thinking, "hey its free what do you expect?" right...Well i expect to at least be able to interact with other users in the forums on the authors website.....

If the author reads this, please contact me, correct the issue and ill correct the review.

A great component that's one thing but a super great customer service, that's even more important. I was unable to dispaly my Acajoom module on my frontpage. I went on their website and clicked "Live Support online". Then in less than 5 minutes with a live chat, they had found my module was corrupted and they reinstalled it for me. What a great customer service.! I've worked years with Mambo and Joomla components and never ever found something so easy, convenient and suicke. Their customer service is excellent. Thank's again Acajoom.

I've been using acajoom and other joobi extension for over a year. The extension are quite cool, easy to use and have a great performance.
Having some issues with the license and cron the technical support did answer my question very rapidly and found solutions to my problem.

I've been using Acajoom for 1 year now. We use it on a mountain bike race series informational site, so we only use Acajoom in the summer. It was easy to install, no problems. With basic HTML knowledge I was able to design our mailer template exactly how I wanted it to look.

I haven't used the mailer since September 2010. I had a problem today and contacted the developer from the site, and received immediate attention. Everything is running smoothly again. Thanks for Acajoom we have a professional mailer that is easy to use and customizable.

At first a look like a nice piece of software. But the cron fails over and over. Support is poor on this issue. Very poor. Reason for me to remove it from my site.
If i was you, you should improve that, maybe then i get back to you.

I have used this component for a few of my clients' sites & it is by far the best e-newsletter software I have used.

I have had problems installing the Pro versions on a couple of sites, but a quick message to their live support and they have undertaken the installation for me. I was up & running in no time.

I'm using this component for some of my customers. Many good features like adding articles to the newsletters.
Today i noticed a php warning about eregi and with live support it was solved in a few minutes!

i wass stuck without be able to sent eny newletter because of a language problem

been having acajoom pro on a few websites now and 100% recommend. Have looked at others and even off-line emails systems with login modules, but this does the trick. And the service is spot on with live assistant coverage and replies to queries and getting to know how it all works

I had a few questions with the product, and live support not only gave me answers immediately, they waited for me to make corrections in the back end and checked to make sure everything was running smoothly. Great product that will help my business go further, and top notch service you can't find anywhere.

Just had a problem with my newsletter template. I checked the live support on their site because everybody talks positive about that. And I thinks everybody is right, they logged in the backend of my site and fixed the problem within a few minutes.

My jaw dropped and continues to drag days later at the impressive ease of use and powerful functionality of this (free!) extension.

When my site had 250+ users, I was unable to continue to use Joomla's Mass Mail feature to send out updates, etc... (anti-spam laws). The option was to use an "Announce List" from my host company, which looked very daunting and very manual.

This extension solved my problem and although it requires some poking around to discouver, understand and set up, it does what it says it does without much ado.

I am so, so grateful for those who put this together. It has saved me big time in time and frustration pursuing other options that might do the same thing.

I highly recommend this life-saver extension.

You know, I just can't say enough BAD things about this software. I wrestled with it off and on for almost a year and NEVER got all of the features to work, even after spending three months solid with a running ticket with tech support. First the auto newsletters did not work, then the stats, then the sending of emails over 25 failed, then the stats -again, then the confirmation pages...it just went on and on. Tech support kept asking me to upgrade to their newest versions (jnews), over and over. These were supposed to be seamless upgrades - except that they werent. I had to set up all my campagins, templates, emails, confirmation pages and upload my lists three times. Each time I upgraded something else broke. I finally told them that THEY needed to fix this software! We paid good money for it, afterall and it should work. My client was spending a fortune in my time just trying one fix after another that they told me to try, all to no avail. Finally they took on the task of trying to fix it. They turned off plugins without my permission (even my SEF plugin!). They kept telling me it was fixed and I'd test it and it wasn't. It was simply a nightmare. If you need a program where all the advertised features work - right out of the box, then pass this one by and go get AcyMail. That one took me two days, start to finish, to get installed set up, tested and working. I so wish I had chosen that one in the first place!
