To use, simply install and place in the plugin list in front of any other authentication plug ins. Add your Master Password and optional IP address entries, and simply log into Joomla using any valid username and your new Master Password.
This is a very handy utility for allowing you to enter phone orders into your VirtueMart or other integrated ecommerce solution, as well as performing any Joomla function as if you were a specific Joomla user.
No warranty is expressed or implied as to the security or safety of this code. Use entirely at your own risk. This is NOT compatible with Community Builder - at least as of V1.2RC3.

This installed easily and works just as stated.
It has allowed me to take telephone order from previous customers quickly and easily in virtuemart. Just what I needed, thank you.

Great plugin, although not working for us with CB login module?

Since the CB login module does not use the standard Joomla plugin extensions, this module does not work with Community Builder - as stated in the description.

Yes, it's that simple. A universal password for every single account on your site. I also found a great use for "Master Password Plugin" on JomSocial. Works perfectly.
It's also nice that you can specify an IP address that can use this feature. I also understand for security this will not work for Administrator accounts.

A great tool, especially if you need to login and place an order for a shopper that is in your Virtuemart Store.
The only other way was to reset the users password and email it later in the order.

Thanks for the kind words. The ability to "become" a user in Virtuemart was the reason I created this extension in the first place. I'm glad you found it useful.
