reCAPTCHA does not require javascript
Since the text is from actual books which are being digitized, reCAPTCHA essentially provides thousands of hours of free labor each day to help digitize books

MailHide makes your email look like tsc...@gmail.com, but this plugin doesn't do that. I'm using K2 and my email still shows in full.

This plugin is easy to install and functions upon installation.
