JTSc (Joomla! Tools Suite component) is a Post- Installation Health, Installation and Security Audit Tool for Joomla!. Designed to provide a wealth of information to assist with Post-Installation Health Checking and Trouble-Shooting. Currently English language(s) available.
JTSsnap (Joomla! Tools Suite SnapShot Admin Module) is designed to be a quick-reference of important configuration and security information when published to the cpanel position. If JTSc is installed, it will also display the last JTSc Assessment Rating.

Thank you for using JTS and for supporting this project. Althought JTS is currently way out of date, it is being worked on, albeit slowly and newer revisions will be relesed in coming months.

It seems the abandoned Joomla 1.0.15 and jumped right to 1.5 so if you are current with your Joomla 1.0 installation, the component will not work for you.

This set of tools is definitely a very good idea for Joomla! professionals. Displays a good amount of useful security information. What currently functions is great, but I would really like to see this function with J!1.5 and receive much further developed in the near future!
looks ok.
However the tool is still based on Joomla 1.0.13, Current version is not well recognized.
Also : it did not recognize the setting Register Globals emulation off which I already had set to off.

This is a great component that works right out of the box. Easy to install and use. I look forward to the continued updates of JTS. The only concern I have are the false positives when running a couple of the audits. I heavily customize my joomla installs which means the removal of the standard images. This produces a critical message.
Other than that this component is a must have!!

This isn't even near finished. I met the program today and was put off because what I installed wasn't finished. Sure a few options are working and IMHO give a false sense of security by the overload off information. I think any real problems reported would drown in the information that shows what is ok. Just too much.
Example: the check list for write permission of a file becomes humongous. It would be so much better to report only dangerous files until a check box points out the user wants everything.
Besides I'm not to sure if it is good practice to publicize betas in the extension directory. I can imagine that if this is becoming a trend, the directory would cease to exist pretty soon.
