This plugin removes the need for your visitor to enter a username and email when registering through the Joomla, Virtuemart, and JomSocial registration page.... and whats more, it does so without any core hacks

Sheer Excellent plug-in, and first class support.
This plug-in is exactly what Joomla needs, especially for an ecommerce site where registration, and login needs to be as easy as possible. No one wants to use Usernames for websites, when email address are sooooooo much easier.

This plugin is slick because it changes the login to request email instead of username. I find this more intuitive for Joomla community sites that have average users that do not want to remember yet another username, but can easily remember their email as a login ID. What I like about this plugin is that it even changes the registration so that the user will be presented to enter their email only for the username, nothing about username is suggested!! Very nice!! Great plugin!
