This plugin does exactly what it says but it has a bug becasue it does not test to ensure that it is being called only in the front end - as a result it prevents you changing user details in the admin.
This can be easily fixed by adding some simple code in the plugin to test if it being called in the front or admin of the site and only enabling it in the admin

Was easy to install and did what I wanted it to do, but after many hours of trying to fix other problems, I found it had conflicts with at least three other components. It disabled "remember me", it kept Huru Help desk from auto-registering new users, and it caused a crash in the administrator section when editing users access level. Once I disabled it, all the other components worked again.
