If you try the demo, you will see that about 80% of the time, you will enter the correct word. If you use this module, I suggest you tell the user, "If you can't recognize the word, press enter to display another word."

Its nice but I agree on more flexibility in the the configuration parameters, like being able to adjust colors etc. Most of the time its hard for humans to read :)

Installed effortlessly, produces images fast, integrated with yvComment easily. Good Joomla plugin. Only problem is I guess I'm not human enough to read the letters. Most of the time it took me 3-5 attempts to get it right. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how heavily trafficked your site is and the type of viewers you expect to have.

Installed the plugin on a 1.5 development site and managed to have freecap working flawlessly in a component in minutes, and the fact that the plugin's not at all entangled with the component will make incremental changes a snap.

I'd only suggest more parameters controlling size and color of the captcha image.
