Ninja Access Module enables you to show or hide modules depending on the access level of the person viewing the page.
It is most useful for selectively hiding modules from different users, such as hiding ads from administrators or subscribers.
Show your members different menus, images or features than your unregistered guests.
Ninja Access Module is Hybrid module, so a single file can install on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.0.
This extension is designed to work in conjunction with the default Joomla ACL or 3pd ACL extensions such as the JACL Plus component from Byos Technologies.
It will operate with just the default Joomla groups, but you cannot create new groups via this extension.
Note: Ninja Access Module is a Silver level extension at Ninja Forge. You can access -all- Silver level extensions for only $10.
I've been looking for an extension for a long time that would hide modules public modules from my registered members. Seems like all the extensions out there just amplify what Joomla 1.5 already has built in (hiding content from non-registered users) by creating more user categories, etc.
Ninja Access did exactly what I needed it to do and now I can easily set modules to appear hidden to members! Great extension, easy to install and set up.
Not only does it work as advertised, but the support is awesome. My template was causing issues with the module's title (not the fault of Ninja Access). Within a day of posting this issue in the forum, support accessed my template as admin and added some code to get around the template issue. Now everything works perfectly!
Needless to say, I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to control what registered members have access to.
