With some adaptation, I find this plugin usefull to warn the users about chrome's bug in paypal payments.
This said, Google Chrome is an open source project, so if you really believe the data gather theory you should take the time to check it out since you have free access to all the code...

It works as advertised, no complaints. Cool idea.
However, I don't see wanting to block Google Chrome as "political", nor does allowing people to access your site with it constitute endorsement. Nor does it affect your site or your privacy in any way if people browse your site with it (in fact, it might even help your site). The privacy and data mining controversies Google is sparking in numerous ways are not political issues. They only become "political" when we they have to be curtailed by policy. At the heart of the issue are your fundamental rights as a human being which are not given to you by any law. And at the heart of Google's race to corner the information market on the Web is not political gain, but greed pure and simple. To decide to block Chrome and give your users a note explaining why is not making a political statement, but a social and even a moral statement about fundamental human rights. And you may be doing them a favor by raising their awareness about something they didn't know.
Sorry to split hairs -- I realize the word "political" is a common catch all for many things. However, this is an issue that transcends politics and is something people of divergent political persuasions can agree on.

Fast and comfortable installation. And it works. Tested with browsershots.org cause I don't use chrome of course. It's your choice to use this extension. And it's your choice to use google.

For some amazing reason, with only 6 votes cast on this plugin, it current rates as 1 star. Any google fan-boys in the room? There are plenty of us site owners who want nothing to do with google's data collection activities and who do not want google chrome accessing their site(s). plugins should be rated on whether or not they accomplish their objective, not out of patronage to whoever you personally endorse. This plugin accomplishes its objective. 5/5.
