Invision PowerBoard (IPB) Login Plugin

Extends Joomla default user authentication to allow login, using Invision PowerBoard credentials or email. Set your IPB database parameters and you're ready to go. As a bonus, you can set connection between IPB and JomSocial fields to automatically fill user profile.

Actually, this extension is so super, that you can turn off standard Joomla Authentication and any Email Authentication plugins. Enjoy!

- Added check for banned users. Now you may set to block users, that were banned on forum.

P.S.: It definitely should work with IPB 3.x, but I can't guarantee the same for IPB 2.x

Fantastic extension, works out of the box, without any issues so far.

To be perfect, a login module to show user avatar and links to user control panel, pms and profile would be great.

Suggestion: map ipb groups to joomla groups.

This extension has been wanted by many, I have installed this plugin and set it up very easily (you do need your IPB DB info). It worked like a charm and did exactly what it said it would do, no issues what so ever.

This plugin works great !!
Using it on Joomla 2.5.4 and IPB 3.2.3.

When you create a account with IPB, you can then also login to joomla with this username & password.

When looking in the user-table of joomla (administrator) you can see that if a user exist in IPB the user will be added as a registered member. (after a successful login).
