In addition to standard ACL features, MijoACL goes one step further by letting you deny or allow access to your site based on very specific criteria; something you cannot do in Joomla by itself. Whenever you install extensions for MijoACL you customize your own ACL for your component. MijoACL can be installed or removed without changing the core files or database tables of Joomla (hack-free solution).
With MijoACL you will obtain a more advanced Joomla Access Control in Joomla!.

MijoACL is one of the best components ever developed for Joomla that will change the way you build Joomla sites, as it allows you to do things that can't usually be done in Joomla.
With it you can set up customized access levels for both menus, modules, components and even component features, based on user groups or even individual users.
As a result it takes Joomla to a much higher level enabling all sorts of membership sites to be created. Especially useful is that public menus can be disabled for logged in users, allowing alot more presentation possibilities for you site.
At the moment it does not provide ACL for template access, but its a suggestion they are considering.
Controlling access to specific component feature requires a plugin to be added to MijoACL for that component. Mijosoft has a few developed already and user can get one made if they need one (for a fee). It would be good Mijosoft just went ahead and created plugins for all the popular components, rather than waiting for user requests.
All in all a fantastic addition to Joomla, that will get even better over time.

I decided to try MijoACL after the great exprience with MijoShop from Mijosoft team I'm happy I did.
MijoACL does everything as it says, it has a comprehensive and easy-to-use interface. I'm able to give custom access rights to custom users and I have to deal just with groups, no more access levels :)
After all, I found MijoACL being a fully integrated granular ACL solution for Joomla and I do highly recommend it.
