Major improvements in the original version include:
1) Added Login Redirect
2) Removed usage of MosRedirect
3) Changed the use of task to view
Install and configure the parameters in the Extension Manager. Depending on your selections the requests will be redirected to Community Builder, JomSocial or the external system or even force to use Joomla Core bypassing any other 3rd party membership extension. Very useful for preventing backdoor registrations. Also useful when using other login modules designed for the core registration and user management.
I have a site that uses a 3rd party sign up form. After months of dealing with spambot registrations that sneaked in the back-door, I found and installed this plugin (installed and setup in about 5 minutes). Two days ago I had almost 100 blocked spambot registrations (blocked by a plugin I had installed). Today - nothing. Not. One. Spambot. Registration. And no back-door registrations. How awesome is that!
It saved me from frustrations. This is a must for every Joomla! website! Cheers developer!
This solved a bunch of problems and no need to edit core files for the router in those cases where you would have to hardcode the destination of the login!
Also options for every user case (login, register, profile, change password). And the possibility to use the core, custom, Community Builder.

Wow, this plugin is fantastic! Working on a community based site with several User based components installed - not all supporting Community Builder. I was pulling my hair out trying to synchronise all site registration & login away from Joomla core. Found this extension, installed and 2 minutes later - problems solved! It was perfect for the situation. Thanks. Brilliant.
On my J2.5 site, I'd disabled the Core Login modules and enabled CB Login and couldn't work out why on occasion the Core Login stuff was still being called.
Installed this plug-in, enabled it and in seconds all my login issues were solved.
Great job, and I'd echo a previous reviewers suggestion that this should be included in the CB Downloads Section, its invaluable.

Thanks heaps for this little but powerful plugin. It makes the site just so much user friendlier! Installation was easy, set up too, and in a minute it's up and running without any hassle. Cheers for the good work!
I was looking for this in combination with CB to prevent the native joomla registration or login forms popping up in stead of the CB ones. It does just that. Should also be published in the CB-extentions area ! (I lost an hour looking there.)
