I am using Joomla 1.5.25 and Virtuemart 1.1.9 and was looking for a different and easier to use Captcha solution for my customers and came across Peoplesign's solution. First thing I noticed was that there were very good explanations of what the extension does, a great demo and detailed documentation for the extension. I was not expecting having any issues with the extension but since it is offered at a very affordable price, decided to purchase it.

I installed it, with the help of the detailed documentation, without any problems. I then ran into a problem with the Virtuemart forms. I contacted the support team and was blown away. They offered the best service I've ever experienced in my couple of years working with Joomla and its extensions.

They worked with me through the issues until everything worked perfectly. I highly recommend the use of this extension for its obvious reasons but most importantly for the dedication and professionalism of this team.

I chose Peoplesign Captcha because I didn't want my users to have to try to decipher the characters in normal captcha pictures.

I support multiple Joomla websites, and have a fairly good experience level with Joomla and web technologies.

I found the installation, registration, and customization process for this extension very easy and simple.

When I encountered an error, the error told me who to report it to, so I whipped out the email. I received a response within an hour, and the Peoplesign staff (Dave in particular) worked quickly to resolve the error and update the plugin to work in my environment.

I like the customization levels that are possible, and the ability to customize the captcha section to match my site. I particularly like the easy customization process. In the plugin parameters, there are "click here" links to the customization page at Peoplesign. There you set the parameters, and immediately see how the plugin will look on your site with those parameters. It provides the customization string that you can then cut and paste into the plugin parameters. You can have a unique customization string for each location that you implement the plugin.

I'm currently using it on a security information website, on the registration page to stop the drive-by spam ids that get created on a fairly regular basis.

I'm about to deploy it to the church sites I support that have a terrible time with the spam ids as well.

I found this to be a great, easy to use extension. I'm much more impressed with the support I received, which is truly the mark of a good product.

I have evaluated a number of different extensions for Joomla. Often, I run into install and config issues and have to email the support for that extension. For Peoplesign Photo Captcha, I was able to easily install the extension. In the configuration step, I ran into a few snags and emailed support. To my surprise, I was contacted by the author very quickly (within 24 hours). The best part? The author stuck with me to get it working properly! It looks great on our site and have we've been praised for bringing better technology to secure the site.

I started using this extension after a while that i had to disable user registration because of the spambots, and voila... 2 minutes of installation and configuration and 0 spambots daily... yeah ZERO, really. Also great and fast user support. 5 stars is too low for this one :)

As a website administrator of both Joomla and phpBB, both using reCAPTCHA, and going through the spam wave of early to mid January, I needed to find a solution that was intuitive enough to trick bots and easy enough for my human users to pass through.

I found what I was looking for in peoplesign.
What makes this package so great is the ease of installation, customizing the complexity of the CAPTCHA puzzle, outstanding support from Dave and team at peoplesign and the reliability of the product in terms of keeping spammers out of my websites.

I've been operating peoplesign for 3 weeks now, and since inception, I have had only 1 spammer account sign up, and I suspect it was a legitimate human user. This is incredible, considering leading up to the implementation of this product, during the first week of January, over 200 spam accounts were created active and inactive.

If you're on the fence about this product, rest assured, after implementing it, you'll see why peoplesign will be the new standard soon.

I had a bug with integrating it with my template. Dave replied to my email within minutes, made the code rev in his module, and published the new version just for me. All over a weekend.

i switched to this capcha after a lot of users file complaints to me that they can login sometimes and it's difficult to make out the characters with the previous capcha extension!! I switeched to People Sign captcha and they love it!!

I had a chance to try out the extension and it worked fine apart for a couple of bugs which the developers fixed very quickly. So support has been very good, timely and useful as well as friendly.
The customization system is also quite useful especially for internationalization, but I would have enjoyed having it within the plugin interface, instead than using the very long customization string. But overall I rate it as an excellent improvement over the "ordinary" captchas. I hear that more improvements are on the way....

I have many bad experience from old style Captcha ,because them make many problem like very hard to guess unreadable alphabet ,another good thing is this extension can solve problem of many handicapped people such as old man or colorblind eyes peoples .

The community has had great success with the Peoplesign for Community Builder plugin for almost a year now, and I'm stoked you've delivered this pure Joomla plugin.

Pros: I've tested it on the registration page and it works great. The customization mechanism is slick.

Cons: The CB version allowed independent customization for each location. True, that feature is overkill, and I'm not sure if anybody is actually using it. One setting applied to all locations is probably fine. However, if anybody really wants it email me and I'll show you how I implemented it.

Overall: SWEET!
