VouchSafe is people-friendly, extremely secure, and works on most smart phones and tablet computers. An audio-based challenge is available for visually or motor-imapaired users.
The VouchSafe plugin is a simple installation that automatically protects your choice of contact forms, user registration, or both. The plugin has been updated to provide support for Joomla 1.5, 1.7 and 2.5.
Site operators can register for an optional api key at http://console.vouchsafe.com in order to activate vouchsafe on their domain. Your registration keyset allows you to customize the way the VouchSafe challenge appears on each of your domains.
You can simply and install and run the plugin without registering for an API key, in which case it will simply be displayed with the default settings and interface color.
I'm sorry for the late reply - for some reason I didn't get a notification of your review until today.
We never heard back from the person who posted the first review, but we managed to figure out what the issue was, and traced it to the latest build of Joomla 1.7: there was a class name in COM_CONTACTS that wouldn't play nice with our code. I apologize for missing that.
We made changes to our server-side code to address the issue. Since the update is server-side, there's no need to update your plugin - it should simple work. The change was effected on Jan 3rd, 2012.
I'd appreciate very much it if you could confirm that everything's working properly at your end. If you have any other problems, comments or ideas, please feel welcome to post them on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/vouchsafe.me), or to contact us directly via our website (http://www.vouchsafe.com/contact)
Dear Mr. Big,
I certainly don't want you to have trouble with the plugin, though I'm not sure what you mean by keys in the email fields. Can you contact us at http://www.vouchsafe.com/contact and describe what is happening in a little more detail? We'll do our best to determine what's happening and get a fix for you right away. If this is something that applies to all instances of the plugin, we'll post our solution here for other readers.
