This plugin is an alternative to SSL. It uses RSA to encrypt passwords or any other data you want in your component.
It is recommended to have the bcmath extension installed, otherwise DES algorithm is used.
Works with Signal Login, JTP Horizontal Login, PWC Login, Inline Login and vtj login modules.
For other Joomla extensions, like Alpha Registration, Community Builder, Core Design Login Module, Yoo Login, YJ Pop Login Module you can find plugins at http://www.ratmilwebsolutions.com/downloads/encryption-plugins.html.
No need to set up. Just install it and install the required plugins.
This is a good idea. But in my test, it conflicted with XIJC (JoomlaXi Captcha component). Since Encrypt Configuration component processed the captcha code, then XIJC can't recognize it though I entered the correct captcha code.
I think Encrypt Configuration need a new option: Exclude certain component (such as XIJC) or exclude specific forms. Maybe both.
Another thing I would like to see being changed is that Encrypt Configuration has NO language file. I hope the author will add multi-language support in next version.

Change the plugin order setting Encryption plugin before the captcha plugin.
Multi-language support is promissed.
The developer was very quick on making a fix for my CB login as it was not compatible at the time I first downloaded it. With in 24 hours a fix was made. works great! I tested it with a packet sniffer and saw my login info go out in the clear with with info with out the plug-in enabled, and with it on it was indeed encrypted! Thanks for the great extension!
sorry, but you get only 4 stars from me. i have tried today to make directly your new update. but this is not possible without uninstall of the old version.

I have updated a new version, 1.0.7. In this version data is automatically backed up on uninstallation and restored on installation.
