Note: v1.3.0 includes language files for those who might wish to use their own translations. For the language file to correctly display the plug-in's configuration instructions, Joomla! version 1.6.2 or greater must be used.
Admin Shield administrator login form protector helps prevent access to the administrator login form by requiring a private token to be included in the address. To deter brute force attacks, a missing or invalid token will invoke an optional time delay and redirection to an alternate url. Should an attacker discover your private token, they will be further hampered by a login time limit.
The private token, redirection url, time delay and login time limit are all configurable via Joomla's plug-in manager.
If you lock yourself out by forgetting your private token or setting the login time limit too low, a tool to disable the plugin is provided in the zip file (see the included README.TXT for usage).
