Select the correct url for your article, and will appear in your admin section, no need to open new windows or popups!
I install this plugin in Joomla 2.5.7, but when I open Article I can't see "Add the url of this article" option, so I can't add url of current open article.

Did you activate the plugin after install?
If yes, the url to specify your article is in the article edition in the "Metadata Options" menu.
