Better Preview changes the url of the preview button in your Joomla! Administrator (top right) to match the item you are viewing.
It does a smart search through your menu's to also get the right (or best matching) Itemid. That means that your menus and modules will be placed correctly.
The large article preview button will work differently. With Better Preview it will execute the plugins, so you will see how the content will actually look on your website.

As the author says it's a small thing but it is worth SO much. Thank you for this little gem.
When you are using SEF urls it can be frustrating finding the right URL for articles and stuff - especially when you have to make a menu item just to get a URL. This thing is going on my must have list. I only wish there was a similar solution for my old 1.0.x site.

This is a must-install on all my sites. I know that there is much discussion about what should be 'core' functionality, but since there is already a preview in Joomla and this is much better then... well... we can always hope. The author has some other excellent extensions too... check them out.

Just released new version (1.1.0). Now you can see by the icons color if the link is changed to anything but the main site.
Simply put - this makes life sweeter in Joomla world. Thanks for the extension...

Yeah, it's just a small plugin, but saves a lot of time. Especially when you are using SEF urls. It was pretty hard finding the right url for articles and stuff. That's history now!
