The frontend was not designed to allow users to upload their ads, to keep your site secure and under control.
In the admin side you can control the details for each ad. You're welcome to suggest another coding approach, using our forums.

Pros:
1. slick, modern, clean look.
2. easy install
3. easy configuration. Almost no docs needed.
4. no bugs thus far
Cons:
1. Developer has hardcoded so his ad appears in ad #3 with his graphic. You delete his icon, but it reappears after save or apply. This is the main reason i gave a lower rating. I hate sneaky. I'd have more respect if the developer charged for the mod instead of this method.
2. Image must be manually typed in, which ads to deployment time. Needs a browser function to choose image. This would put this mod into the next level.
3. Need a way to have a title and not make the url the title. when you mouseover the ad, if your url is long, you get this huge popup. change backend so you can input a title and url, and show or hide each, just like joomla core.
How to remove the developer ad:
1. mod >> miniadspot >> images. Delete or save over joomla-layouts.jpg or delete it. Also, you could just set "no" to ad 3, which is the one the developer has hardcoded.
I'm sure the developer will comment on this, but the codes speaks for itself. Had to get my word in because you cannot reply to developer comments. They get the last word.

There's not a single hardcoded line in this module. The code is clean and GPL licensed.
On the 3rd position yes, there's an example with default values, but you can always unpublish it. Even if this is a free module, you're not forced in any way to leave that example published.
Some other features are already made in the final version. You can find it in the forums, but it's not fully tested, this is why it's not in the download area yet.

However, the only thing I think should be improved is that, why use relative path for the order page? Sometimes, maybe user want an external page for ordering. So, please allow user to enter complete URL of the order page, this option will work for both internal and external order page.

Relative path because most users have the ordering page on the same domain. It's a good idea and it will be implemented in the next update.
I tried looking after my email but I haven't receive an activation code. I try registering a random name and user + email if it will be a successful one, but It didn't really finished the loading thingy.
so I just read those documentation and explore the site, I love the concept and I'm waiting for the release of the 'component'. hoping the registration will be ok by then. =b

I am SO glad you guys created a version of these ads for the masses! They're awesome. This module works great, with the exception of the linkback inserted into the mini ads. Maybe you guys could offer a pay for link removal feature?!
You can always remove the link by replacing the parameters data in that position. Is there by default just for demonstration.
