Good for banner position, but for left or right...

If I configure the module on top or banner position It works OK, but If I configure it to appear on right (or left) position with 2 banners which have to change on 5 seconds, banners do not alternate until I click on a link.
Can somebody help me?

Sounds like a module I need but I am running on joomla 1.6 so hopefully you will be able to make a compatible version for joomla 1.6 and 1.7 :)
