Component - For managing Banner Categories and Banner Advertisements in the Admin panel.
Module - For displaying Banners in any position of your websites.
Plugin - For displaying Banners in between Articles/Contents.
This is a free extension. The features included:
Front End:
1. Display Banner anywhere in between articles.
2. If you have more than one active banner in a category, then this will display a banner by selecting randomly.
3. Using the module you can able to display banners at any place of your website.
Back End:
1. Manage Banner Categories.
2. Manage Banners. (You can not able to create your banner images but you can add the HTML or JavaScript Code of your Banners here.)
3. Documentation.
How To Use the Component:
1. Install the Component.
2. Under Component you can find 2 sections, Category Management and Banner Management.
3. By default you can find under Category Management all "Google Adsense Categories" are added for your simplicity. However you can add/edit/delete/publish/unpublish any category you want.
4. There are 2 fields in Category Management. One is Category Name and another is Category Access Code.
5. Category Name is the name of the category. This will help you to identify the category. Here the category is mainly used to identify the banners width and height.
6. Category Access Code is the code that you need to put in your article description to display the banner under this category. If you have more than one active banner in this category then the script will randomly choose one banner and display. In time of adding this Access Code please try to use uncommon and unique format like: {BANNER_120X600} or [120X600_BAN] etc.
7. Under Banner Management you can simply able to add your banners by selecting a Banner Category and placing your Banner Code (HTML/JavaScript code of your Banner).
How To Use the Plugin:
1. Install the Plugin.
2. To display banners in your content page you just need to activate the Plugin first by going to "Extensions" => "Plugin Manager"
3. Then go to your articles and place the proper "Category Access Codes" in each place where you wish to display the banners.
How To Use the Module:
1. Install the module.
2. Go to Module Manager and add your RSBanners module. Assign the "Access Code of the Banner Category" in the module parameter.
Try this free extension. Hopefully you all like this.
The RS Banners software is good at what it was designed to do. I can not rate it poorly for not meeting expectations that fell outside of the developer scope of the project. My personal feeling is that the default banners component in Joomla is more powerful, as it provides metrics, where RS banners does not. However, RS Banners never claimed to provide metrics. RS Banners is very easy to use, and performs flawlessly out of the box with no issue. I highly recommend RS Banners to anybody who does not require metrics.
Instalation was quite ok. But getting it to work was not that easy.
Perhaps i`m just plain stupid but I can`t find any helpfull support on your webpages. I can only find the same info repeated several times. But it dosent help me.. I can se from other post that you recomend you support sites.. Coukd you please link the here? If your ext is as good as decribed I would be more than happy to donate.... But I have to see it to belive it.. ;o)

At least provide us with solid documentation. Your site is worthless and the explanation is half done..
How can i add my image to display.. whats that custom code i have to add...
actually it should be simple really simple for banner component - everyone is making banner component do something strange like this..
EVERY BANNER COMPONENT SHOULD HAVE:
-manage categories
-manage clients
-add banner (the external link, now upload file. and the following extensions should be supported flv jpg png gif etc etc.)
now the module
- u assign it to a position on your site
- you pick category
-you pick banner
and or choose if you want to rotate more banners randomly from that category.
- set size in pixels
and that would be all
and for the plugin and stuff thats extra
But where do i upload my banner ffs ;/

I'm definitely NOT working for this company (or band of merry men) but can say this extension works like a charm. To be sure, it's simple and straightforward, but if you're looking for an easy rotating banner system (much easier than the native Joomla component) you've found it.
This plugin, module, component does not work at all. Wasted several hours trying to get it to work. The documentation is the same as the demo and is the same as the support link. The information provided is worthless. Whoever posted the other review must be the developer. I tried it with AdSense and with script ads ... Nothing displays at all. Tried a variety of variations to see if the documentation was simply unclear. I think it goes beyond being unclear. The documentation is not accurate. If you want to be irritated, give this a try.
