I have never seen a Joomla extensions like Listbingo ever till date. I have tired many components for classifieds in past few months but as I used Listbingo, I have stopped searching and using other extensions.
I have tried Listbingo 1.3.8 few months back and it was great. It has everything that a normal classified system should have. Now I just downloaded Listbingo Pro 1.4 and I am amazed by the capabilities of the component. Guest posting, multiple categories entry, priceable categories, option to show video in ads and many more, wow !!!!
I had some problem to setup and migrate from 1.3.8 to pro 1.4 but their support team help me out to fix them all within 24 hrs. That is really great. I feel the worth of the money I spend in their subscription.
It is very hard to find such extra ordinary component these days. Hats off to Gobingoo team !! Keep it up and amaze us with more of such products in coming up years.

Wow! this is a great classified component for your Joomla site, easy and fast to set up with many ad on's that just make it even better.

I'm working with this extension since a couple of week, and I like very much the experience.
The look & feel of the extension is much better than others I've tried, and it has all funcionality I was needing.
There are surely some issues, like in all components or extensions I have worked with, but in that case... I've been able to solve all of them thanks to the Outstanding support provided. Very quick, very efficient, very detailed.
I can not do anything else but strongly recommending it.

I have downloaded this extension about a week ago, and I've been trying to "fine tune" it to meet my needs. It's hard to customize (for example, advanced search to have country by default, or having advanced search in one line, etc.). Another thing - PMS - if you receive a message, there is no reply button. Strange system. I've been trying to get this going for me for a week (and I am not a novice at all in php and Joomla), and I give up. There is a lot of work for the developers. For instance, why is there so many templates for one page? Why no reply button? What's going on with advanced search? Tons of things that are not right. A lot of things just do not make sense. At the beginning, I was all excited about their add-ons and I was going to purchase the mods for the board - like packages, etc (all commercial), but today I thought about all that work and fine-tuning that I would have to do, and it scares me. I would not recommend this software. Once again, the developers have a lot of work just to perfect this one. I understand that it is free, but if you do something, do it right.
Although this extension looks beautiful and has many features, it is suitable only for sites in English language, as far too many language tags are not translated. It's disappointing to spend more than one hour translating Listbingo language files only to discover that we cannot use it on our non-English website. I really hope this issue will be resolved so that we can all use Listbingo.
I am trying to get support from them, but it seems that I need to purchase support, even if I already purchased the component.
Furthermore, all the documentation is for users, not for developers, I am trying to find something about the code, but there is not information available.
What is worse, i found a bug, when creating extra fields; if a field is selected when clicking "new", it doesn't creates a new, but edit the one that is selected, in other words, we have 2 edit buttons on it; the "new" button and the "edit" button.

Have you contacted support? or Posted in the forum? There is no bug in the code itself, also remember Listbingo is just a component that runs along side other extensions too, and there are other factors that can affect its proper functioning.
About the developer documentation, The documentation is available for developer only. Why? because we have seen general users altering code and then asking for support on their altered code, which violates our guidelines for support. We cannot give a support for altered codes.
Please review the product features and make sure you contact support or forum before you post any review about the product. Low rated reviews are not good for the extension, moreove these are the reasons, people will not try a good extension.
Firstly let me say that the support I received is absolutely amazing, quick to to assist me with my queries and very friendly! I've never been happier with a support team, they're great! I'm using this extension for my new automotive community and it suits every need, and more. The add-ons give it extra functionality and it's fast! ListBingoo is comprehensive, yet easy to set up and use. I'll definitely recommend this product for anyone who's in need of classifieds on their site!
Great classifieds system. A couple of minor bugs which I found a fix for in their forums but other than that it's great.
It pains me to give 4 stars but the extension itself would have 5 if it was not for the support.

I am currently building a jomsocial site, and have been trialling Listbingo & Adsmanager, and I really wanted listbingo to be good as it looks perfect for my needs. However it is a complete waste of time, and considering it's free I am not sure why the developers have even made it.
I downloaded & installed it about 3 hours ago and so far have found the following problems:
1/Images: I uploaded 3 very small ones a few times for test purposes - only 1 image shows - no matter what i do.
2/Reply via email to advert does not work
3/Front page layout chooser does not work (why bother putting 4 choices in the box???)
4/No breadcrumbs to return to main screen.
These are BASIC requirements of any functioning classifieds ad component. Who cares if it's "fully customizable" if it does not do the basics. Basically this site looks like a classifieds site, but is not one. It begs the question: why put it out there if it does not work? it's free, the developers have gained nothing, if anything they have lost my custom because if this is the rubbish they are putting out then i would not buy anything off them - crazy eh!
I would pay through the nose for a working, modern classifieds component, PLEASE someone make a commercial (working) one.

All the things which you have listed above are not issues actually, you need to know about the settings of Listbingo before mentioning these as issues.
Here are the solutions to your so called issues:
1) 1/Images: I uploaded 3 very small ones a few times for test purposes - only 1 image shows - no matter what i do.
Check the mootools version of your template, if you are using Listbingo 1.3.7 then upgrade the mootools of your template to 1.2.x, all the uploaded images will be displayed in the ad detail page.
2) Reply via email to advert does not work
How can a system reply if it doesn't have email format? You need to create an email format on the event "Reply Email" so that ad owner will receive an email if some one reply him/her via Reply link.
3) Front page layout chooser does not work (why bother putting 4 choices in the box???)
To make it work set the Homepage of your site as
Listbingo>Front page.
4) No breadcrumbs to return to main screen.
Enable the "Breadcrumb Configuration" to display breadcrumb.

Before submitting these kind of review, contact Listbingo support team for help. Without knowing how to configure the settings of Listbingo, you cannot call it issue.

Unfortunately it seems that nobody from GoBingo is active in the ListBingo "Community Forum" on their website, or answers any of the hundreds of questions and issues raised in this "forum" - it seems the only way to get support is to pay for it?
Even the "bug report" icon on the GoBingo site doesn't work! Its a sad state of affairs when there is a "bug" in your "bug report system"!
As GoBingo point out themselves on their website - "you get what you pay for" - and in the case of the free version of ListBingo, be aware that you are paying nothing, so don't expect any support for that!
This should be contrasted with many other free software packages which ARE actively and well supported FREE by their distributors (prime example being uddeIM).
So yes, ListBingo a nice little "free" package that performs reasonably well as a simple classified ads component, but its severely let-down by the fact that there are numerous bugs in the software, none of which you can get any help with unless you are prepared to pay for support. Shame.

It's good overall - easy to configure and quite flexible. But be WARNED: the images shown on the description and the working demo is not the actual product. The layout is different, some of the features are missing (even if you purchased their addons). You ask them about it and they will say that the feature is coming up in the future.. But why use it on the demo and the product screenshots?
I'm very impressed with the possibility of component and addons. It works great together with sh404SEF (2.x.x.). New version 1.3.7 is improved in comparison with previous version. All addons are very nice and useful. The only one thing - from point of view SEO - it needs some Xmap plugin. I tested Lstbingo with Joomla up 1.17 to 1.22 - it works great. The best and powerful classifieds extension for Joomla. I strongly recommend this component and addons. Thanks for great job!
Listbingo is an excellent classifieds extension with most everything I need. Their support team has been outstanding. I had a list of issues I needed help with and they were able to either provide me with documentation or with the appropriate fix in a timely manner. I purchased Ads Factory and couldn't get the help I needed. I am glad I switched to Listbingo. My only wish is that they would stop using Plimus as their payment vendor...
