Display either a single custom Ad, or display an entire Ad campaign utilizing the Joomla! Banner Component which comes standard with any fresh install of Joomla 1.5.
Create an alternative Banner to display when the paid banners run out or if they expire.
This module is based upon the webpicassa open source solution and has been worked into a Joomla module. The biggest advantage to this module over similar modules is that this one validates to w3c.org standards.
Setup is easy, however it requires you to create a personalized banner or banner campaign. Visit our Web site for tips on how to create banners and even animated banners.
NOTE: ALL BANNER IMAGES MUST BE IN .jpg FORMAT, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE A FLASH ANIMATION, YOU MUST CHANGE THE EXTENSION NAME FROM .swf TO .jpg. (we promise this will work). Banner sizes: 500px X 500px only. Peel sizes: 100px X 100px only.

1) Fixed serious conflict from versions 4.0 and 4.1.. This caused the banner component not to link up properly. This module is now STABLE. If you have v4.0-4.1, please uninstall and reinstall v4.2 or higher to fix.

As for me it is the best page peel banner module. Before it I tried to use Page Peel Banner module that is "popular" on this site, but it did not work on other pages but frontpage. This great Cornet Page Peel module works on all the pages of my site.

Figured I take a chance with this one, and it is paying off!
Set up was easy enough, you may have to apply the module to a few positions to get just the right one, and balancing ad size with defined space could be tricky... but I spent no more then 15 minutes figuring this out.
I donated a Fiver on this one, and that's rare for me. I recommend others do the same to keep the good stuff like this community supported.

Corner Page Peel give you more flexible. Not only for ad space, but also for important announcement!

Looks great and works perfectly.
I ran into a problem with it appearing in module positions rather than the top-right corner. A post in the support forum produced a very quick response and solution: it was a peculiarity of my template. A fix was provided and I was up and running.

Loved this module and installed it promptly on my site
The only crib is that the documentation could be better and more elaborate.

hi, excellent work! only a thing. i have SOBI2 and many other components where this module does not show any content, i fixed it altering the code of mod_pagepeel_banner/tmpldefault.php at lines 69, 74, 79, 84, 91, 96, 98, and 103 adding the variable $baseurl; before directory and java script urls in order to fix it, now it works on every pages and components.
it would be great if you release a fix for that, i might i'm not the only one with this problem.

Thank you for the post.
We actually fixed this issue in all of our extensions by adding a baseurl and path param:
$BaseUrl = JURI::base() . $path;
The updates will all be live by in the next few days. This issue only affects users with components that alter the site URL like joomfish.
Solution, check back for version 3.2 or higher in a few days.

This modules Installed OK.
And it works fine with an standard tempale (ruth)milkyway), but using an Artistee 2.1 tempale the Corner Add pops up at the upperl-left part of the postion defined.
Maybe it works better under Artisteer 2.2 Template, but I did not test this yet.

Please post this issue in our forum so we may diagnose the problem and get it fixed. We have been unable to find any issues with our testing and would appreciate the opportunity to troubleshoot the problem.
