- This extension requires registration to download.
Now has the facility to allow charging for job submissions by clients and job applications by candidates. Use in combination with the new RAM Paid Content Module which allows users to purchase job submission / application credits in advance. Charging for job submissions / applications is enabled/disabled by new global parameters.
Supports custom fields for candidates, clients and partners. Supports CSV import of client, job/vacancy, candidate/job seeker and partner data.
A full set of UK Areas (countries and counties), US and Australian states, South African Provinces, New Zealand States and Districts and Indian States is included and can be installed in seconds. A set of example sectors and rate bands is also included and can also be installed in seconds.
The backend admin system allows the administrator to manage clients, jobs/vacancies, candidates, applications, interviews, areas/locations, sectors, roles, partners, custom fields and rate bands. The look and feel of the component can be managed via the CSS Admin page. There is also a facility to export CSV files of client, candidate, partners and jobs/vacancies. (And a monthly MI report can also be produced.)

I hate giving negatives, but its my money that went to the drain.
I have looked and looked around for joomla 2.5 classified extensions (free or paid). Finally, I decided on this one, why?
1. The responses on pre-sales were very quick. Almost instant reply, considering the time difference from the UK.
2. Questions I asked were answered but not elaborated. I figured, its the way to get quick answer.
The web demo looks ok but not that ecstatic but I was thinking hire an excellent CSS programmer to get it to what I needed.
Now, I paid and even paid for a paypal module extension. This joomla extension is NOT cheap considering whats available out there, its in Euro too (1.4x US$)
Installed and tested and now I needed some support. Typically a new user will require support for anything to get it going quickly. I have documented all the support questions and answers and plan on publishing it in popular areas.
- Asked for support. I found out the forum was hidden from view. You will never see what you sent. She hides your request until she comes back to you. You will never know what actually you have sent and what the details were. If I know the forum is hidden, I would know already its a flag to run away from that extension.
-Waited for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 days. Then she came back telling customer, me, NOT to send spams. A customer sending questions and asking for support she calling a spammer. Of course customer will spam you with questions and more questions with no replay to any questions and to all the questions. You better have the decency to reply for god sakes. After you get paid you just took the money and hid it.
- That was the end of support. Then, waited again, 7,8,9,10 days. Said again do not spam me with too many questions or will not even give me answers or support, and said, SHE HAS AN INTERNVIEW APPOINTMENT.
- Then after 3 more days more I get some quick reply. But they were not you can consider support. Her answers to questions typically are:
a. You read the manual (But The manual does not tell you all and most of the time its not accurate and not clear and it was written for j1.5)
b. Then, responds and gives you answers like: Then, comment out the codes (which hella codes??, change the language file??, Its obvious really... What in the world you talking about!!!!
Who can understand what support she was saying.... And That was after weeks ago.
- Problems with USA date format using "/". She blames joomla. Says its joomlas bug. I checked the codes and RAM is the one adding the "/". But she never replaced the "-" with "/" all over it.
- Codes - Very messy. She lumped sum every single thing in one index file and its up to you look for the codes in a huge humangous file in 13444 lines of codes, recruitmentmanager.html.php. But then, it was easy for me then to figure out to fix the USA dates from there.
- And, this product was made to work as the main registration to take over joomla so a user can be either one of the choices. Do NOT use it if you are adding it an extension of an existing site using joomla as the main registration system. It does not work correctly redirecting to login or register, never did no matter how you try. You have to change the core.
There are tons more of problems with support and some not appropriate to post. But bottom line is NEVER TRUST NOR BUY DEVELOPER AND THIS PRODUCT IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE OR SIMPLE SUPPORT. ITS EXPENSIVE AND WASTE OF TIME.

My first experience with the developer was when I e-mailed on a Saturday morning asking a pre-sales question. I received and answer within about an hour.
Based on this, I bought the component.
With the wife out and the kids in bed I settled down to install the component, iron out all the bugs spend a couple of hours working out how to use it, etc, etc.
Well, I have to say that my evening's entertainment was a bit of a washout. It installed quickly, the documentation included was easy to read and digest, and it all just worked. 20 or 30 minutes of playing and I realised that there was little else for me to do.
It's always a pleasure to pay for an extension when it's as good as this one.
Based on this, I bought the component.

Worked closely with the Developer on this for a clients recruitment website. Developer really knows her stuff and tweaked the ext to suit the clients needs.
Site got its first online job application to employment role so the ext does work in the real world.

I'm actually amazed and a bit disappointed that there are not more positive reviews here for this component - the support forums for it are littered with people saying how good they think it is.
I am one of them, this is an excellent Joomla! component and if you need to implement recruitment functions on your site then you should be seriously considering it.
The component itself offers complex functionality, and there are numerous extra modules that can be downloaded for nothing which integrate with the main component. You can pick and choose which functions you want to use - for example, my client isn't planning to use the Partners or Client functions yet, but might do further down the line.
The site I've just completed operated slightly differently from the RAM demo site - however the code was well structured, well commented and the variables sensibly named etc. I'm no PHP wondergod by any stretch of the imagination, but I managed to convert it to match my own spec. fairly easily. Partly this was because there are already so many things it can do, so with a bit of imagination you can juggle them around to achieve what you want.
Support seems very good, there are no unanswered threads in the forums and the developer jumps on top of any bugs which crop up (which, to be fair, are normally oddball little things as it's a fairly mature component). Documentation is there for it, I'd suggest you read it.
All in all a great bit of work and I'm very glad I bought it. Well done.

OK, I didnt really like this product at the start. BUT, ts because it really does have a lot of features that are very very good. Once you learn the ropes, (by the way, I strongly suggest you read the manual!!), you will love it.
I had excellent support from the authoer and they even logged in to my back end to figure out some issues.
Also, most if not all of my queries and suggestions have been implemented. If something you need will take them some time, they may also negotiateto do it for you for a small fee. They did that for me for some unique requests and I am very happy with their product.
In a word: Thank you and dont hesitate to buy this.
