This Blogsystem is filled with all the properties an blogextension must have. The posibility with the migrator to get all entrys out of (basicly for me) k2 or lyftenblogy and other extensions is great an works like pulling a knife into butter.
The Blogerlayout and the functionality are realy unbelievable. I will say - U will never use a Wordpress, Joomla and Easyblog is the combination. The management of mediafiles be it images or moviefiles is great and let me think about - why is this not standard in joomla?
I'll give 5 Stars - one more :) , when there is an additional option to export the entrys for importing them in an other easyblogsys (Joomla 1.5, 1.7, 2.5 compatible)

Joomla does a great job of being a CMS, but oddly is not too strong as a blog (at least the 1.0 - 1.5 versions). This is especially an issue when building client sites for multiple bloggers. In the past, we've had to resort to installing WordPress to get the features and ease of use we wanted. EasyBlog was something I purchased on a whim, mostly because I was struggling with social and analytic integrations. I was stunned at how easy it was to get rolling, and really impressed at the presentation and UI design. Once I got going, I had some custom needs that I wasn't able to modify myself, and their support was happy to help me get what I wanted. Huge fan, and I recommend this to anyone looking to have a dynamite blog (I'd post to our blog, but links aren't allowed. Username says it all).
the looks are easily configurable with the css provided (I am an autodidact); when I had an issue with compatibilities between easyblog and another extension on my site, they even tweaked the other extension, so everything worked fine again; probably the issue was a mere php notice, but I wouldn't try my luck; the back-office solved it; great work; many thanx
I found Easyblog easy to install and configure. I had used more expensive blogging components before and always had trouble setting them up to the look and feel of my site. Not only is this extension easy to use, but the support is unbelievable!!! Minutes after submitting a ticket or asking for help on the forum, someone has replied and work through the problem until you are satisfied, what more could you ask for? Use this and you will never look at another blog extension.
This is an amazing extension if you use Joomla as a community site and allow users to create their own blog. Highly, highly recommended.
Now, if only I can integrate the individual blogs to show on each user's Mossets Tree listing. (Just thinking outloud, have not contacted them about this.)

If only every Joomla! extension was as easy to use at easyblog. The extension installed easily. The user interface is so intuitive as to render documentation all but unnecessary. Set up and customization was a breeze. We had our first blog post published within minutes. One of the best Joomla! extensions I've ever used - you guys rock!

EasyBlog is a full-featured component, probably more so than any other blogging component you will find. The admin interfaces are extremely clean and easy to use (even though there are a bazillion settings). There are multiple formats in the menu choice, including the ability for a user to sign in and click only on that user's blog. Another cool feature is the geolocation function. If enabled at the time of a post, you can auto detect your location or directly enter your address. And voila! A map is inserted into the post showing the location. Videos from YouTube, Vimeo and others can easily be embedded in a post. The online documentation is absolutely the best and most complete that I have seen for a Joomla! component. EasyBlog integrates with all major social networking sites. This is well-worth the $ 79 for purchase.
This is simply the best blog platform with the best support for Joomla. It integrates with every major platform out there and is amazingly user friendly. Completely customizable with template overrides. I cannot think of a single [blog related] thing I have not been able to do with StackIdeas EasyBlog.

I found the component to be fairly easy to setup. I had a few customization questions and not only were they prompt, but they showed me where the settings were and set them up as well. Without doubt, EasyBlog is a first class product with a support team to match. The extension is as customisable as you could imagine - and more! Due to some other SEF components, we needed some customisation, and Mark at StackIdeas was only too pleased to do everything he could to help. All issues were promptly resolved, even though it was no fault of theirs. Great product, fabulous customer service. A stressless upgrade to our blogging capabilities. Unreservedly recommended.
Being new to both Joomla! and EasyBlog, I had some trouble understanding how to configure EasyBlog. Stackidea's customer service, specifically Mark, actually worked with me on my site to configure it and once he was finished explaining it in detail I understood it completely. Look no further for a nicely integrated blog for your Joomla! website. They have all of the bells and whistles that you would expect to see and then some! There support is excellent. Anytime I needed something tweaked or fixed, they were all over it within hours of my emails. It is worth purchasing and the latest release has some really nice social media integrations.
Over the weekend I purchased and installed EasyBlog for Joomla 1.7. EasyBlog is truly amazing. The installation process was simple, and the user interface is so intuitive. What blew my mind the most, was the ability for my users to add their own AdSense codes and make money from their own blogs. That will definitely bring in a lot more bloggers to my site. Furthermore, the support that I received from the Mark Lee of StackIdeas was amazing. Even on a weekend he helped me add the extra features that I wanted onto my blog. Definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Words can not describe how amazing this developer is.
Bugs are almost a thing of the past in the latest version 3.0X and we are looking at a very very mature and polished product.
The coding is clean and customisable, and everything seems to more or less work as it should.
An easy 5 stars for Stackideas, and component and support well worth paying for.
