Installation Instructions
- Install/Upgrade the plugin through the normal Joomla Install/Uninstall page
- Open Submit Article Redirect in the Plugin Manager
- Select the menu item to redirect the user to when they add and/or edit an article
- Enter a message to display to the user on the add and/or edit article redirect page (optional)
- Save and publish the plugin
v1.1 - Added check to make sure that it only triggers on core content.

Does exactly what I was hoping for: redirecting the user to a page after he/she creates a new article in the front end.
I can't get the message to display though and I couldn't get the redirect to the home page to work either. It sent me some other random place in the page.
