As a rule, I have no problem paying for an extension. However, you implicitly expect that commercial extensions will either work or you will receive support from the developers when problems arise.

Unfortunately, RichContact [component/module] seem to have little support available.

In this case, both component, but moreso the module, definitely have some bugs that need to get resolved before getting a better review.
