The description of this module is a little confusing. It isn't a bridge in that it doesn't share user data between vB and Joomla or combine the two into a single package.
This is a Joomla module that allows you to easily display the latests posts from your vBulletin forum on your Joomla site.
I've been looking for exactly this for a long time. Something similar was released a long time ago as a Joomla module but it never worked well and required manual formatting of the data layout in Joomla, so was more hassle than it was worth. It also only worked if both the forum and Joomla site were on the same server and required you to include sensitive login details.
In contrast LastVBF works perfectly and exactly how I wished.
1, You can have your Joomla website and vBulletin forum on two different physical servers and it will still be able to pull the information from the forum to display the latest threads on your Joomla site.
2, No sensitive data is required. You do not need to provide the module with any login details from your forum. All you do is enable external javascript for external data provision in vBulletin, and this is enough for the module to obtain the data.
3, The module is very easy to setup and get working. As a minimum you just need to enter the url to your forum, the max length of thread titles and the number of threads to show. And it then works.
4, Styling and layout is very easy with the module. It was a number of different layout styles built in to display the information. Enough for most. And you can set the link colour, info colour, font size, and row colours from within the module, as well as how each piece of data is titled. And the ability to apply a module class suffix. So more than enough to layout and make the module look how you wish.
So if what you are looking for is an easy way to display the latest posts from your vBulletin forum within your Joomla site then this is the perfect solution. It takes about 1 minute from download to get it up and running.

I can't believe that this isn't a more popular module.
If you have vBulletin, you gotta have this module to drive traffic into your forums.
