Now you can get multiple appointments for a day. The appointment time will be automatically disabled when an appointment request will be sent for that particular time.
You can manage the date (enable/disable), appointment times for that date, etc. from administrator.

com_appointment is a joomla 1.5 native component. This component will help your website visitors or clients to fix a meeting with you through your website. Its very easy to install and configure this component.
This will display a calender from which your website visitor can choose date and time for a meeting. Website admin can approve or cancel the meeting from back-end. Admin can also manage date, time of a particular date, holidays, etc. from back-end settings.
I have purchased this component and I’m surprised to see how fine it works.
I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price, but after purchasing the product I realized that it was the best buy ever.
I had some problems setting up a few things (translating into Danish), but the developer helped me right away with my issue.
I highly recommend this component.

This great component installs like a charm and worked instantly, i had some problems whit European (24h) time standard settings though. It took me one e-mail to support and i don't know what happened to me, but i have never had such wonderful support. Like magic the dev. in person solved the problem. Logging in on my live site, did some editing and there is was 24 hour time format. Both thumbs up for Vyas for all his help and devotion to get things right. Never had such great support for a very cheap component, it beats the competition by far. Therefor a 5 star rating for development, support and kind and passioned devotion. Thank you "The Best Makers" (they sure are the best), nice doing busyness whit you.
I purchased this component but it doesn't store data. After trying to contact the developer, I have no reaction. What a pity. I can't use it now.

I was at first sceptical because it is so cheap, and initially the component, although very easy to setup did not do all i wanted it to. I contacted the "bestmakers" and asked for some changes. within a week they had done exactly as i asked and charged me only a few dollars !

Appointment booking has been something that we needed for people to register their interest to see the Marriage/Relationship Counsellor in my Church. Appointment Booking Component has made our website functional rather than an information site and thus make us more productive, on a day-to-day basis. it makes us more productive than before. By far Appointment was much more user friendly than the other component we considered.

This is a nice and very useful component in very competitive price. I was wondering for a component with the same features in some freelancing work providing website and I got quotations of around $100-$120 for a component like this. But from thebestmakers.com, I got this component just in $12, which according to me is very competitive price for the features and the features are good enough to get appointments from our website.
I didn't know how to integrate a component with my joomla website, but the developers of thebestmakers are always helped me whenever I asked for a help. Thank you for a nice component and services :)

I agree with previous posters. One should expect to get more for that price. So please build in the posted requests. Next to that setting up your own schedule where you admit people to schedule an appointment should be more advanced. Now you can enable times for just one day and after saving, you pop back to the current day. Pretty annoyinng if you are planning your own appointment schedule months ahead. You need to go back for every day/time you want to enable/disable. It would be good to have the possibility to set admitted appointment hours for more then just one day at a time. Like disabling all weekends at once.... or open for appointments every working day from ..hour to ..hour.
I never got an answer to an email I sent for this request.
Please don't stop developing but prepare a free update for paying customers when you are ready.

This is fine if you just want people to say they want an appointment starting at a certain time on a certain day but who makes appointments like that? Looking at the admin screen shots I thought we would be able to configure the front end appointment request form to have start and end times - or at least a duration! All this really is is a contact form that you "pre-populate" the date in by clicking from the calendar. From the back end, yes it's nice that it stores teh appointement info but even that is very limited - this should not require payment to try out - I'm only out $12.00 but this component really offers very little. Sorry.
I agree with the previous poster. This component is exactly what I'm looking for with one exception. It would be GREAT if my customers where allowed to book a day that someone else is already booked. As I do lawn care work, I need to be able to visit multiple sites in one day. Is there any time frame for these updates to be implemented?

Nice and easy to install and set up. Allows for customised automated messages to be sent out. and is very easy to book an appointment. Easy to block off days that you are unavailable. Very reasonably priced @ $12
The only disappointment for me was that only one appointment per day can be booked although there is the ability to book different start times during the day. It would be great if a start time and end time could be booked or if default lengths of appointments could be set and if more than one booking a day could be made. It is only this shortfall that stops me giving it an excellent rating.
