Thank the author has developed a very useful component. I've been using this component for my website. Indeed, this component will be more wonderful if the booking has a textbox to enter number room and shorten the booking two steps instead of four step as the current. Specifically check availability Step 1, step 2 is complete the necessary information and click the booking is completed. This makes booking convenient and fast. A case visitors in the month plans to book a room in two different times, so if you add a more booking in Step 1 is great. Hopefully, this component is growing and improving.

When I bought the extension conditions were able to access the support forum for life.
Recently I find the surprise .. they sent me an email saying my subscription was about to expire.
When I contact the developer the answers that had to change the conditions for a "problem with illegal copies of their extesión".
I do not believe that excuse, and I do not think that is reason to change the initial conditions of purchase.
Initially the extension is good, but to have to pay every six months for access to the forum, then, is expensive relative to their characteristics.

Well okay as reserves but has many mistakes, if you download first translation into Spanish does not work, and also does not detect the accents or ñ, besides not recognize the file .... en-Ini. I contacted support and they tell me they do not support in Spanish, and thus can not give me solution for anything, I finally I had to create the file, but of course in another language to do change all the margins ... bone I had to spend several hours configuring the language, css .... and is not compatible with the Google translation. Furthermore the database uses the default server without getting a new selection to store all the information, and when you log in to make a reservation, in the status bar will appear the folder you are accessing ... besides only serves for a hotel or apartments in which you're the administrator, the ideal would be to use several hotels of different owners who could handle them, so it's okay but it has many problems .... and it is not all good. there are many things to fix yet .... and the worst is that I already spent the $ 39 so I have to stay with this good and you can tweak.
BooKiT is very easy to configure but for some reason, search calendar is shown behind the article. This makes it hard to select date. Is there any fix for this. If not then this module is of no use for me.

For further support on your menu issue please refer to my answer on 19.07.2011 16:33:13 through our ticketing system. The z-index property of your menu does not allow bookit calendar or any other item to overlap it
I bought this for our small family hotel (Hotel Pelops) after having one of the other "popular" modules for about 2 years.
Since the morning I installed it, reservations have been coming in think and fast.
The ease of use is at the top level, the installation was incredibly EASY and it was up and running in a matter of minutes. Customisation took me a couple of hours and during all that time, the email SUPPORT was a matter of minutes.
This was very important to us as the booking engine was on a live website. The guys that support/build this were SO SO helpful.
Now 2 months in use I would like to have been notified of any upgrades (it is now up to 5.4 and I am still on 5.1). Maybe I have to register somewhere ;)
Generally speaking it was the best money I have spent for our website.

We use bookit Gold for a while now for our family hotel and it works great.
Installation is very easy, the extension is very stable and easy to use.
Support is awesome! Costas is answering E-mails immidiatly and helping you out with any questions/problems.
This extension is already pretty advance and we are very happy with is!
Adding some functions as: minimum stay, different price if people stay shorter/set certain arrival-departure dates/planning bord would make this module just PERFECT for anybody.

this extension is perfect for hotel bookings, we are using it for a while now, we run into some issues regarding the kinf of hotel that we have, we need to sell rooms in packages of certain amount of days, this is not very common, but thanks to the great customer service we are getting this functionality now.

I purchased Bookit Pro as I needed the sidebar module which wasn't available in Gold at that time (it is now). It is a fine extension that just works really well and is easy to configure and use.
Support from Costas is top-notch. He was really helpful - even with a problem that was nothing to do with Bookit in the end.

Excellent! Even tho i had some problems and had to hardcode it to fit my meets, and some minor bugs (solved now) with translations...
Easy to install, configure and run...
Overall a great Product, with great support and fast development with new releases/bug fixes!
The price it's excellent for what it offers and with lifetime support-updates.
Personally, i recommend it!

BookIt is far away the beste module you can get !!
I was looking a long time to find this.
