Version 2.0 of D Calendar is out with new functionality.

It introduces some very nice and useful features like week, month and two-month modes, mootips, and multiple events per date.

* Greately revised code.
* Revised API methods and events.
* Revised stylesheet and appearance, stil fully W3C compliant.
* Support for 3 modes, week, month and 2 month views (backend configurable).
* Support for Mootips (can be disabled in the backend).
* Support for multiple events per day.
* Displays previous/next months' days as inactive.
* Support for rendering anywhere on the page or the template (backend configurable).

Changelog v.1.1.3 (24/3/2010)

* Minor version that fixes a problem with the calendar rendering (last row did not show up on 24/3/2010)

Changelog v.1.1.2 (23/3/2010)

* DateActivate method is now obsolete and should not be used.
* Event and Method code and elements can now be placed anywhere on the page/template.
* Error suppression when no handlers have been defined for events.
* The style can now be configured through the admin/config page of the module.
* The style file has been removed (no longer required)
* Fixed the problem with templates messing up the padding of the days.
* Mootips have replaced normal tooltips to allow for rich-text.
* Fixed the error with IE and inline scripts that caused the browser to crash the page.

Support for IE 6 and 7
Separate style file
Fully W3C validated code

Basically, I love this module, and it works well, but need more work.

1. Can't change to Sunday as beginning day of the week
2. The two lines at the top is useless, but can't show the last day of May at the bottom. I think it's a bug
3. Not configurable friendly
4. Registered the forum, but can't post threads.

Thanks though! Please contact me if you wanna help me fix the problems above.

Good evening Simon and thanks for your review.

I am currently working on a very big update on the module. Big enough to increase one major version, bringing it to v 3.0.0 which will include all the features you want and many many more.

About the forum, the one on support.d-extensions.com is currently not used and will soon be closed as the alert states. Please use the link "Support" above and register on my main site.

If you still cannot make this work, feel free to contact me on info@d-extensions.com and I ll be more than happy to help you.

I have tried everything I can imagine to do to get something to work, but this calendar has no instructions of any kind. There is no way at all to get a date to link to anything or literally anything because there are absolutely no instructions AT ALL!!!!!! Worst extension I have ever soon - nothing -= just no way to use it at all. I have wasted hours and it is frustrating beyond belief.

There is a demo and a presentation page that explains exactly how the module can cooperate with your code.
Plus, there is a support forum, which I check almost constantly and do my best to answer as soon as possible.

After macuser has opened a thread on the support forum, his problem was solved almost within 15 minutes.
His WYSIWYG editor was stripping the JS scripting from his content.
The module has been downloaded more than 3 thousand times during the past 2 months and there have been only 2 or 3 people that needed some help working with it.

I just wish macuser was not so hasty posting a negative review...
