There are two versions of the Events Mailer. One is compatible with JEvents 1.4.3rc running in legacy mode under Joomla! 1.5. We also have a new version of this extension, compatible with JEvents 1.5.2.
Please note that both versions are NOT compatible with Joomla 1.0.
I like the automated function in this extension that sends an updated e-mail of my scheduled events to all user. I do have a wish though, I wish I could eliminate the events that have already taken place from the mailer. The extension will not drop old events from the mailer. This makes for an ever-increasing newsletter. I have configured J-Events as thorough;y as I am able, but the newsletter does not have such functionality. Even using the start date, which would need to be updated each week anyway, the older events continue to appear. If this were not so, this would be an overall excellent extension. As it is, it is very good.
A very good addition to Jevent 1.4. Worked very fine and exactly the functionality I was looking for.
However, Jevent 1.5 was released. Better functionality and stable so I upgraded my JEvent. Now TnR tells me Jevent is not intalled. I was expecting that because it's not compatible.
I'm so hoping now for a new release from TnR that's compatible with JEvent 1.5.x.

We now have a version that is compatible with JEvents 1.5.2!
