The Image Calendar is a great marketing tool for theaters, classes, clubs, organizations, bars, and various other venues that want to display events with a focus around your own design work. Great for showcasing band posters, artist fliers, promotions and many other types of event graphics, pictures, illustrations and other creative in an easy to navigate calendar system.
Designed from the ground up with Presentation and Stability at its core, some major features include Monthly, Weekly, and List View Display Options each with a myriad of settings, a built in thumbnail system to automatically generate thumbnails of images, utilizes a LightBox to show event details, Integrated Multiple Event Support via image sliders, uses Joomla!’s built-in mootools library and modal systems to keep the code light and fast, new category support lets you have multiple calendars showing a different set of events and Social Network Support lets you link to your Facebook or Twitter page.
We have now integrated the module to work off the same database of events and integrated all the latest functionality. With the Image Calendar from Sysgen Media, you get the Component and Module in one unified package!

Good News! We have added support for larger images in Lightbox Mode. We also added the option to show only the image without the details if desired.
The Month view module will be added in the next release, however the month view component view works well.
We purchased this extension for a magazine site we were building that needed to handle events and recipes with a little photo of the food next to it.
We requested help and some programming changes to the module and for an added small fee the programmer of the module came through for us in a short amount of time. After the mods were made to this extension, it has performed flawlessly, and our client is very happy, it's exactly what they requested. Thank you Jared for all your help.

I recently used image calendar for a bar client with fantastic results. Installation was quick and easy and produces a stunning looking page with very little effort. Administration of the component is easy enough to teach your clients so they can update their own site.
Besides being a great component, I also experienced excellent customer service when dealing with the developer. I even received advice and code for customizing the component.
All in all a great component and an excellent company.

I like this mod! Easy to use and effective.
A few things that would add more power to the tool would be to be able to enter the Time of the Event, and the location, instead of embedding this info in an image on the backend at the module parameters, and to be able to add additional images in the same day for different events.
So I can have 2 events in the same calendar that happen at different locations, and different times.
