2. Events management: Event Booking allows you to create and manage events from back-end of your site. You can create both free event and paid events. Users will be able to browse for events and register themselves for this event from front-end.

EB is very intuitive and easy to use, has great features and the support is first rate. I submitted a support ticket to suggest an additional feature and within 2 days it was there, amazing. The only thing I can't get to work is the user integration where customers can log back in and check their order details. I think this will be getting fixed in the new version for Joomla 1.6 when it arrives.
With the support of the developer the add-on was slightly modified to work in such a way that a group registration allowed us to register a child as the group member and the parent as the billing partner.
Tuan is reacting very fast and seems to be very dedicated to make this plugin to a big success. And I have to say he is on the right track with it.
The developers are very active and willing to help and advise which is in stark contrast from my experience with similar extensions.
I think I'm going to start moving all my sites over to this system as it really is everything I need and more, and it is simple for users and easy for developers to expand upon.

If you're looking for an event registration component, look no further. For the price of this, you cannot beat the features and support. btw, it's a lot cheaper than the competition... ;)
This component is amazing. Simple to use, well designed and very well thought out, from both an event management perspective, and a event participant perspective.
Kudos to the team for creating such a killer component. It is now #1 on my list of favorite Joomla extensions.
1. Event Booking is a really great product, which simply works out of the box. There are tons of options, and you can even translate the language file from within the backend.
2. The support is outstanding. Very helpful, and fast: I got a reply and solution for a minor issue within ten minutes.
I'm very happy with Event Booking, and recommend it to everyone who's looking for a booking solution for his (or her) Joomla site.
I would definitely recommend this events registration to anyone who wants to cut down on time and still benefit with tons of features!

But Event Booking is much much better and cheaper. Example if you had 200 registrants, it would cost $2000 to have it outsourced. This is only about $50 (including payment addon)
The best customer service I have ever experienced. Whether it be via, forum, support tickets and even Skype, the developers are always contactable.
Custom Changes - You can edit / change just about even piece of text available. Emails are super easy to edit. The forms are amazingly simple, yet VERY flexible.
Very solid platform. No crashes or unexpected errors for me. (using a paid template / install from rockettheme.)
Heaps of payment options.... that WORK straight from the box.
I normally don't leave reviews... ever. But I am so impressed that I felt like you needed to know.
Will definitely recommend it to all of my friends and give it a perfect 10 out of 10.
