DT Register includes all that you need, easy to use and set up, especially considering all the features available. Support is the best I've encountered for any extension here at Joomla, Just perfect, always a solution to any problem, even if it's not within DT register component itself. Support has been great. We ended up having an issue that was not on the DT Register side, but got all kinds of help from DT Register to look for things that might help. Any scenario we had with registration there was always a resolution. Would surely recommend this for registrations, and have other clients about to go on it too. AND, they have help videos...don't see much of this for other products but it's great to watch MEANINGFUL examples that you can put to practice on your site.

We use DT Register on a daily basis and push it to the limits. Anytime I get stuck, have a question or request, the developers answer with clear, concise directions or even just fix it for me and usually within 24-48 hours! Rarely do you find this kind of support for any kind of product. There is no reason to not use this extension!

DT Register is the heart of my website. I use it to register attendees for my photography workshops. I have been using it for about a year without any problems and am probably due to upgrade my subscription. If I have one minor criticism it is that there are TOO MANY releases and upgrades. I am just one person and am always under pressure, so I have fallen behind with keeping my version up-to-date.

The developer is very active, which for a while was a bad thing when I had to keep reconfiguring modules after updates, but the process is getting smoother and smoother.

I need to allow parents to RSVP for luncheons, and optionally buy lunches, I need parents to register for seminars, etc. DT Register is perfect for that.

I have had some parents have issues with other form tools on our Joomla site, but DT Register has been very solid.

Its only flaw is that it could use some improved layouts, and graphics, but in terms of functionality, it's great.

Install was smooth, video help files swept away any set up queries. (I reccommend taking the time to go through them)

I am three quarters of the way through a site build and realised i am now using extra functions I hadn't initially thought of.

I needed a secure way for members in my camping club to sign up and pay for events. Since I already use J events and this component works with Jomsocial my social network component, the choice was simple. I've had issues with configuring the admin customizable functions as I am a newbe to joomla and the autor allows total customizing. Never has there been anissue in the front end with member registration and record keeping of those reservations. The author/developer is so anxious to keep up with his forum "features you want to see included list" that there are constant product releases. some added features are released too soon so I'v decided to wait for only security driven releases. The ticket system has been a god send as I've been able to not embarrass myself on the forum with my lack of joomla knowledge. Great product, cool folks. this is the core of our site income.

I have been using it for a few months now, and can only recommend it. You can read all about the features online -but the customer experience is not there. It is just fantastic...worth every cent of it. Look no more, this is the best Event registration component!

It installs easily, works right out of the box, works with Joomfish to translate everything, and it is easy to use on the back end. You an customize it to fit your needs (additional fields, email to participants, etc)

What is decisive is the top-class support of the developers (both in the Forum and in the individual support), that leaves no questions open and they do this within a reasonable time. Even if you have something urgent, you can always send an SOS message and they will take care of it.

The developers are also sensitive to suggestions from users, and in my short time as customer they have incorporated several features of the wish list on their website.

Excellent service and an excellent component, in permanent improvement. One can hardly ask for more.

I love this extension. It was easy to install and set up. Support was very quick to respond to the few questions I had. I did a lot of research before I purchased DT Register and I made the right choice. It is very easy to customize the look, the messages and the event details. The video tutorials cover everything associated with the extension. They are much better than other video tutorials I have used. They give you the information you need without a lot of unnecessary babble. I highly recommend it and it was a real bargain.

Even though they do not have all the features I am looking for (however, they claim they will be coming out with them in the next update), they are wonderful to work with. I thought the $75 dollars was quite step, but with their fantastic support it has made it worth it. I have had several questions/concerns both before buying and after and they have answered each one quickly and thoroughly. The customer service makes up for any lack in the component itself.

There is a very good reason why all you see is stars for this extension! It is because not only does it do what it is described to. It will show you areas that you should have paid attention to for your events but did not even think about.

I had the DT team build me a custom gateway to my bank and it is working flawlessly. If you need an event component that works without fail. You will not have to waist your time anywhere else!

The quality of the extension, the support and the features are of the highest quality. I will be using DT Developments tools everywhere I need what they offer!

We are a travel organization company, and the price for an trip changes depending on options the registrants chooses. DT Register allows you to add custom fields, so a user can select for example, the premium package at 5 star hotels and the trip would costs more than if they selected to stay in a 3 star motel.

However, regardless of the options the user chooses, the price of the trip displayed to the user does not change and always displays the baseline price. The new price is only reflected AFTER the use hits "next" and the confirmation page is shown. This is less than ideal because then users have no idea how the selection of these options changes the price of their trip, and many of our users are surprised by the increase in price and frustrated that they had to go through the process before the new price is shown.

I think DT Register can enable the price displayed to change interactively based on user selection by using Silverlight/AJAX, not sure why this is not done because it seems like something that makes a lot of sense and fairly straightforward to implement.

Still, overall a solid product and constantly improviing.

I have used this module on several websites with no problem. Today, I needed what I thought would be a custom, possibly difficult, solution. I submitted a ticket and within 15 minutes had a reply from support with instructions on how to customize the registration. This extension is incredible. Excellent extension with excellent customer support.

This component is just awesome! I use it for my non-profit company that hosts workshops. This made my staff very happy because of how much time we save from phone calls now that the customer can do everything from the website.

The customer support is excellent! And they are constantly putting out updates and fixes to make this the best program! Highly recommend this component. I also purchased the Donate component!

First of all, that component has everything to run event registration professionally. It takes time to get acquainted with that component and its huge functionality. Integration within Community Builder is great and works right out of the box. Developer provides nice online videos to get it going. Component is stable and comes with functional update procedure. We had used Seminar for Joomla! V1.3.0 previously and miss some front-end function within DT Register badly. Certainly the component cannot fit everyone’s need out of the box but there is always a workaround for it.
Payment processing is smooth and a bliss using it. Since component is in production we have neither received a single complaint of our client’s user nor of their administration.

Reporting is always an issue with most components and it will be because everyone has different requirements, still as mentioned earlier some basic reports accessible via front-end would give that component an additionally star.
On the other hand, some odd stuff comes along with it too. Likewise JEvent is required and uses only headline, date and time that increase administration steps unnecessarily at least as long as you are not using further JEvent functionality.
To overcome lack of front-end reporting we are using Logos Form and Report Manager ( LFRM ) to create all necessary front-end reports for our client. It turns out it might be the better choice anyway because of more flexibility and better professional services revenue.
Support forum is helpfully, ticketing services has some passion in case you overlooked functionality and opened ticket accidentally. Ticket response time is within acceptable time frame.

For a while I've been trying to pound the round event registration peg into the square virtuemart hole. It sort of worked but not really -- the front end wasn't flexible enough to support our sliding fee scale, mulitiple registrations, etc.

Then along came a high-profile, must-get-it-right, have-a-strong-admin-back-end event. I saw my career prospects dimming. I read good reviews of DT Register, did a lot of due diligence, bought the extension on Friday afternoon.

I had a test event mostly working by Tuesday morning. I hit a snag that led me to post on the forum. Nathan's quick response turned into a trouble ticket, turned into resolution by Tuesday afternoon.

We're still in test mode but so far both front end and back end are performing beyond expectations.

I'm setting up a site for a client who needed event registration as an important part. DT Register has met all my expectations and far more! I could think of things to write in a wish list for most extensions but with DT Register instead I'm just amazed at the possibilities that I wouldn't even have dreamed of. As if this wasn't enough I'm walked through every step in the excellent video tutorials at www.dthdevelopment.com + I get top notch support via the forum and ticketing system!

Just installed and set up DT Register on a site for a client with a very complex pricing structure for an event.

From what I could tell, it was looking like I was going to have to look for another solution for online registration, but I shared my client's complex pricing structure with the support at DT Register, and Nathan spent a good amount of time giving me an in-depth response telling me multiple options I could choose to set up DT Register to work for this complicated pricing structure.

And in a few more minutes, I got everything set up and the client is very happy.

I highly recommend DT Register if you need to provide online event registration through your site.
