updated snow script
I works very well. I am no expert in Joomla but still found very easy to install. Generous heart of the author because such a great extension still no link back. Greaaaaaat.
Thanks because of you I discovered this script, which BTW is used also by YooHolidays.
Here's my opinion:
* I don't like the fact that you make the entire script to appear on the page. It makes the index file size to increase greatly and the site to take longer to load.
* You are using a 2008 build, there's a few newer versions including some made a month ago or something.
I had to edit my template and insert the code directly on the head tag because I don't know how to make it via module, but thanks! Well done ;)

Fixed so script is added to the head tag instead. Also, updated to latest J!1.7

It's really easy to install and the snow doesn't interfere with the visitor's ability to read content on the site. it does, however, seem to "flash" when it reloads, and that's a bit distracting.
This filled my needs completely. Works right out of the box. Not too intensive, great options in the PHP and seems to work on most major browsers.

I saw the demo and liked the module.
I registered on the website with a username and password.
I activated my account through the email link.
I re-logged into the site.
I clicked to download and was sent to an error 500 page :-(
Such a shame as this module looked so nice.

As many are having problems with the registration process, I have removed it and JSnowfall can be downloaded without registering.
this is a very nice thing to have for your joomla site, specially when its winter / xmas is coming soon..
It should have more controll over from the ACP and add some more effects such as Fireworks for new years eve/ 4th July, falling leafs, bats for Halloween etc etc.. Just images will do the trick..

This is a great snowfall module I have ever found. The snows are falling so naturally. It gives you such a nice Christmas feel. Thank you for your lovely module and do upgrade it. Merry Christmas !
This is an awesome addition but it would be really nice if it could change from snow to rain to falling leaves... like this guy has here:

Am working on the leaves, just choosing nice images of leaves falling.
